This is one of those injuries that can happen in the game, a total accident. It is really awful and it is really sad for David Busst that it happened to him, but these things can happen. Anyone who tries to say that Irwin, Schmeichel, McLair, or even Busst himself are somehow responsible for his injury obviously know very little about football. One of those things that only happened as a result of freak circumstances, nobody is to blame.

He got a double compound fracture to his leg. The bone came through the skin and there was some blood on the pitch. I remember it very well being an MUFC ST holder for 30+ years. I felt really really sorry for the guy too.

Larsson's is misleading. What looks like the break in the vid is actually his shinpad, but it was still a pretty bad break, but nothing on the scale of Busst's. He had multiple surgies, had to retire and can't walk properly now.
