@ctagious and any other misinformed people - Sony and Ericsson are not parting ways. Sony has bought out the remaining shares that Ericsson own in the company. This happened a week ago. Sony came on board as a partner, bought some Ericsson shares, worked together a few years, shut a lot of Ericsson's old facilities down and now are becoming the sole shareholder in the company. The company is being rebranded as Sony Mobile and acts as a fully operating subsiduary of Sony.

@Rune101rune Get this phone. It has 1GHz processor, the same one found inside in the Xperia Play/Neo/Pro/Arc/Ray and Adreno 205 GPU, while the Explorer runs on an outdated 600MHz CPU and old Adreno 200 GPU. It probably has better build quality too.

This is a nice little phone, if you dont want to spend big on an android phone then get this one. The battery could be a little bit better on it. Just have to know how to use it properly. I get at least 9 hours of heavy usage out of it. That's not bad for a little phone like this. Sure all touchscreen phones are pretty much the same.

@TheHorzaz Xperia Ray has better camera (8MP) and has Bravia engine, so screen constrast is better as well. But audio quality (headset and speaker sound) is far better on the Live walkman. So the Live walkman is only better if you want a music phone.

this phone might have the same heating problems as with xperia mini, since they both have 2 capacitive buttons at the bottom. am i logical? i still have been reading a lot of issues with xperia mini til now. i was supposed to buy xperia mini. now, i am interested with this SE live phone. are the problems resolved? also, i am bothered with the product support coz i read that SONY & ERICSSON are parting ways. how about the future android updates after ice cream sandwich? pls enlighten us :)

guys I need some help.. is this phone really worth buying? i mean, in terms of the battery, will it last for a day or two in texting, games, music, a little web browsing.. Im still undecided on what to buy, this one or the ipod touch, 'cause im into games ,music and web browsing much better if it has phone functions, of course the ipod touch doesn't have it. well for me, the battery would make my decision. for those who have this phone already, I need your help guys! thanks!

@icometoburyceasar I have it and I can say that my battery lasts for at least 2 days with average usage. I'm very happy with the battery life, since most android devices only last for one day.

@icometoburyceasar Well, I listen to music very frequently. I also use my camera pretty much. But I don't know if web browsing drains the battery fast because I mostly use my Wifi for just a couple of minutes. That's average using for me. XD

I don't know if the iPod touch has better battery because I have never used an iPod before. All I can say is that the Live walkman has a very long battery life to be an Android phone. Normally it will last for 2 days under any condition.

@FaizanA95 Sony ericsson MH410. They sound good, but since they aren't in-ear, you will never get the same sound quality that comes out of high-end headphones. I never use those that come boxed with the handset. XD

It's always better to go buy some high-end headphones to get the best sound quality.

@icometoburyceasar I tried and I was able to open all three file types (pdf, Word & Excel) without a problem. I didn't need to install any extra apps. So, normally you won't have any troubles opening them.

Sony ericsons new interface is looking really nice and fluid. Will consider it almost at the level at HTC sense, not quite there with functional widget yets, but looks cool. Touchwiz i still consider bloatware.
