Thanks for your video , I subscribe for your channel because of these vintage items and your way for introducing them , I am waiting for your next videos .
Older stuff only seems to last longer because only the better stuff stood the test of time lol. Most people buy cheap crap, even back then, that stuff is the first to snuff it.
@Iandude1000 It's no longer common at all. Nothing is sold (consumer) without a pre-applied plug. Back in the era of this clock (70's / 80's) many consumer electronics came without a plug. It's important to remember that at that time, the number of electrical devices in the household was extremely small. Sometimes there'd only be 1 socket upstairs and 1 downstairs. It was also common for people to apply bulb style plugs to record players or radios to attach to the light fitting...
@ashleycox432 Thanks for the suggestion... An in depth video about this item may actually turn out quite well. I'll use it for a few weeks and then I'll consider it.
nice one :) lucky you to get one in mint condition
I got me a Telefunken digitale 101 flip alarm clock radio from 1970 on the flea market a few weeks ago

That is clearly under a license from the Rank Organisation judging by the logo.
