Well to paly like this, you cannot cross hands. I started playing like that, trying to use left hand as much as possible for everysingle thing... really. I put, cowbell and agogo on the hihat, granite blocks next to it, tambourine and woodblock on the crash cymbal, and for good measure, two bongos next to the granite blocks... My drummming has improved like that, overnight pretty much... I highly reccomend palying like this if you want to put out such creative and complicated stuff!
