  • This tune is similiar to Machine Gun of Hendrix... but very nicely done. Also, very unusual style of playing with strings upside-down. Certanly harder than normal way. A unique and interesting young guitar player, very talented and not boring.

  • doyle loves to sound like Jimi....respect for him continuing that sound....Jimi RIP

  • Where the hell can I buy this DVD?! I have been looking everywhere!

  • @JuniorNasty i have one new . make me a offer?

  • @a64tbird No idea how much it's worth. Make me a price!

  • @JuniorNasty did you try Amazon?

  • The Univibe is part of this guys great tone.Love it.

  • amazing player

  • Is the drummer lefty too? I recognise the way he holds his sticks b/c that's how I used to hold them. I'm a lefty and play guitar, bass and drums. I always get excited listening to other lefties, we have a special kind of soul in our music.

  • @FluffyLizards nah hes a righty but he holds the stick in his left hand "military style" if he were left handed the hi hat would be on his right..or some leftys have hi hat on left but hit it with the left stick.

  • FOKKKING MASSIVE!!! How does it get better than this?

  • @splambert "Barry Richman."

  • @splambert er you could actually listen to jimi hendrix rather than a rip off..all be it a good rip off.

  • strings upside down?! well eff me.

  • @phillipislbj check out albert king dude!!!

  • what is NOT to like about that? other than the low sound quality, but still awesome effin upload!!!! WOW

  • great tone but no one can be a hendrix my two cents ..

  • @indydrt no one's TRYING to be a hendrix. Doyle is his own man

  • Until I saw this guy in concert, I did not think it possible that a mortal man could be this physically gorgeous and artistically talented. Holy God ! ! !

  • If they'd re-release just the audio as a live album CD, I would buy that too. I can't have enough of this performance!

  • doyle is my man!

  • Doyle is white Hendrix for me

  • Doyle is the legend!

  • Istnat that John Mayers drummer? Looks like him..

  • @awesomejohnnet Was, now he's derek trucks' drummer.

  • Another Hendrix Deciple graces our ears with the Jimi fire that burns forever!

  • @awesomejohnnet Thank God he's more interesting than Hendrix.

  • @aristarpictures I respectfully disagree. Jimi was a visionary that changed rock music forever, he invented many of the guitar techniques and sounds used today. His song writing and stage showmanship inspired generations of musics and created new genres in music and fashion....

He has been copied by millions of musicians including this lad here. Now whether her can become a new SRV, Trower, Via, satch, Johnson etc.. remains to be seen. He shows promise but to say hes more interesting than Jimi?

  • @awesomejohnnet Hendrix is great, but we have come along ways and Bramhall II is more soulfull and pleasing on my ears than Hendrix and I'm a serious player myself so I understand the difference. Don't be scared to say Bramhall is a game changer as well, Hendrix is a piece of great history but now new history is being made for those who get it!

  • @awesomejohnnet Hendrix is great, and influenced doyle in ways but we have come along ways and Bramhall II is more soulfull and pleasing on my ears than Hendrix and I'm a serious player myself so I understand the difference. Don't be scared to say Bramhall is a game changer as well, Hendrix is a piece of great history but now new history is being made for those who get it!

  • @aristarpictures Every one is entitled to their opinion, so I respect yours. I have been playing 42 years, I appreciate Doyles authentic vibe and am not criticizing him at all. Im just saying "at this stage of the game" you comparing him to Hendrix is a bit premature. Hendrix was a multi faceted tralblazer that did things no one had ever done before. Here I see a good blues player doing his own version of "hear my train a coming" dressed like Jimi.

That dosnt make me shallow. . just saying....

  • @aristarpictures I reckon you could say Doyle is more like the new Clapton, just in a contemporary setting...not really the new Hendrix, even though i fucking LOVE Bramhall!!!!!!!!!! He's the tone and feel king of blues in my opinion, but yeah, Hendrix was different.

  • Funky dude!

  • J.J Johnson, nasty

  • ...the best of the seventies re-incarnated in the form of DBll and his band....a true modern day classic...and that '64 Strat sounds like a million bucks.

  • doyle seems right at home in the land of opium

  • @jamesha175 Have faith brother!!!

  • Man, this guy looks like he'd just come from the freakin 70s. Gotta love him.

  • a texan hendrix

  • hey, Chinese dig blues...

  • Doyle's guitar playing is hooky as fuck!

  • Absolutely nasty stuff. That drummer is golden god.

  • @thefritz1 jj johnson?
