@RedwingdProductions I heavily recommend ging for an i5 2500k (negligible differences to the 2600 for significant price difference) and getting a higher end graphics card, at least a 6870.

The 6770 really isn't much better than the 5770 so it's better to go for more, it will do you better long term (as 2500k is more than enough to run any game in the near future on max)

@langyman20 Dont run it on Max settings,if you do then of course is gona be laggy. How many RAM do u have? and ur using a 5770?? try turning off the Vsync. and what OS r u running? windows 7?? if so,i think theres a patch to fix all the lag.

at 0:04 you can see the "COMRADES BAR" Logo lightening. At my game it looks different. Its dark only a bit at the edges of the letters. This is with most lighting objects. Also all the other lightening object at the wall. And stripclubs of course. ;)

Pls i have the same card newest Patch. Is this because of the patches. I have latest ATI drivers.

If i get very close to the Logo and look from a very flat angle at it its shining normaly.

i need some help: i have a amd athlon II x2 @ 3.1ghz, a hd 5770 and 4gb ram. i was able to run this game in something between mid and high settings on win xp. but now i installed win7 home premium 64 bit and the game goes crazy. my mini map is in a half-transparent square, the water is invisible (i sill can swimm, it look like i am flying), sometimes cars get partly invilible and the game is lagging like hell. please help me.
