  • What is the title and artist of this song?

    Thanks

  • Bloody awful.

    Luke Rhinehart wasn't from Scunthorpe!

  • wrong actors im (1)afraid and i dont like it(3)but i think it was a good idea(6)

  • haha(4)

  • where did those numbers come from? in my comment? weird

  • Isn't Dr. Rhinehart supposed to be some sort of giant? And Arlene (not Emily) a busty repressed sex machine? Sorry mate, the idea is great, but the actors are just not right for the part, regardless how they act.

  • its good you tried to do it...i love the book.but the luke actor was really not suited to the role at all.

  • I think that when you try to live up to such a great book it will always be hard unless you have a large budget and very experienced crew. Thanks very much for your comment and feedback :-)

  • This was a really shit piece of film. The Actors were rubbish, no control of their voice or expressions. The guy who played Luke Rhinehart reminded me of a 5 yeard old boy trying to act. The Camera work was very dodgy and highly noticeable.

  • Being the camera man I had no control over the actors. I would however agree with you that my camera work was not fantastic but I have learnt from those mistakes. I would suggest that your comments are more constructive in future.

  • I am glad you like the intro. Looking back on this project there are a lot of things i would do differently :-)

  • Emily??? Arlene isn`t she? Ecstein. i just not long read that bit,

    `Edgar.`

    `Edgar Ecstein

but thanks for bringing that little scene to life.

Brilliant book! and some of the smallest chapters i`ve ever seen lol.

  • I honestly couldnt tell you. I was the cameraman on this project.

  • oh right lol, it turns out a girl btw, yep, Egarina Ecstein lol.

  • That woman is SUBLIME.

  • I am sure she will appreciate your comment :-)

  • this is very good, the rolling die in the beggining was an especially good touch, i'll be sure to pass this on to my grandfather see if he thinks it does justice to his book. every time i go to his house i hear him bitch about paramount being so slow in making his movie. it dissapoints me as well, not only is he my favorite author, but its my favorite book and he's my grandpa so i feel bad he may never see his book made into a movie. i think he'll like this though.

  • Glad you enjoy the video. The rolling die was a time consuming thing to do but worthwhile.

  • Is "Luke Rhinehart" really your grandfather? I just finished reading The Dice Man, and while it didn't quite inspire me to leave my wife and follow the will of the Dice, it was one of the most enjoyable and thought provoking novels I've read. It would make a great film. This little short was not without it's charm, but a feature film with a Fight Club or American Psycho feel would be amazing!

  • yeah, i completely agree, unfortunately paramount are a bunch of retarted jackasses, and cant decide on a script, not to mention they do have a director decided for it, unfortunately that director is the director of mean girls and freaky friday. so basically i think the movie is pretty fucked. but ill make sure my grandpa knows that he still has some support out there.

  • Glad you like the intro
