I was trying the color change on one of my projects for a blue ford, and it gave me gray instead of white. I lowered the saturation on the blues and lightened the blues but it gave me a gray. Then I desaturated the cyans and lightened the cyans and it was a little improvement but still a grayish color. What should I do?

I'm not a Pro in PS, but he is so slow, like Copy&Paste took like 30sec, instead of just saying c&p your layer into your filter ... i mean if he says that and I see what happens on the screen i'll get it. And he is talking about shortcuts all the time ofc they are nice, but you don't mention all the basic ones in a tutorial like this, just the ones regarding the filter maybe. And overall he is to accurate ... nobody cares if he doesn't get the exact border of the truck

Putting the wheels and logo on different layers would have been far more practical, so you can move and edit them independently of each other. You might want to mention as well that the red is at extremely high contrast with the other colours specifically in this photo, and your hue/saturation method would affect ALL the reds in a given shot, like sucking the skin tone off of someone whose red shirt you wanted to change the colour of. Not really transferable advice. Thanks for the tool tips tho.

I haven't even watched this one yet, but I've watched enough of his videos to know that he's going to show me things I had no idea about with this tool (that I've actually used quite a lot professionally). GOD! 18 minutes and 45 seconds to do such a SIMPLE task! There are so many ways you could have achieved the same effect that would only take around 2 minutes. GIMP could give you the same effect and realistic look, and Photoshop is supposed to be the "easier" and more "powerful" image editor, though it looks as though it's the more confusing and bloated image editor. Come on 18 minutes for that!
