Do you know that at that time in history the U.S. Debt obligations were 2.5 times smaller than they are today? :) Matter of fact, from 1945 - 1969, our national debt, comprised of the public debt as well, declined approximately 80.9%. In 1969, the hippie movement you are referring to, the national debt has risen approximately 105%. Those 1969 hippies are now CEO's of the corporations you're pissed at. Think about that fact.

Where was the Occupy Wall Street movement back in 2007? Oh that's right, the anti-war protests (democrats) dropped off completely with the election of Obama (hope and change). Then we had Ron Paul and the original anti-Fed movement. Then came the republicans (Tea Party) and now the original anti-war movement is back in the form of OWS (mostly democrats). This is a government who made laws which make it illegal to discriminate or be racist against groups, cultures,credes, religions and so forth but they condone discrimination against a group of people standing up for what is right because if these people make a change the government loses. One rule for them and one rule for us. Money is the root of all evil and with it removed the world will be a better place, almost every crime committed is caused by money (poor steal to eat etc...)

@BladeoftheSword You know I really don't understand the doomsday idea (for lack of a better term). People have been forecasting doom, the end of times since the beginning of recorded time and all have been wrong. I'm not saying that this is not a possibility I just really don't feel it coming. Over the years I've learned to trust my instincts and they have always been right. Do you truly feel that the end is near or is it something you have read about?

Not only is it fascinating for me to observe and experience my own shifts of perspective, considerations and conclusions that OWS is putting me through, it is also fascinating to watch how OWS is impacting others. MSM is frantically trying to stick a comprehensive label on this phenomenon, trying to put it all in one corral, fit it into one simple sound byte but they just can't do it. Clearly, OWS is not same old same old. It is new and fresh and is much more than what it appears to be.

@cdltpx Please, Ron Paul will not be able to do any of that. That's just another on with promises. He is surely a good person, but if he gets to the top, he will have to play by the rules, and the rule is to serve the Elite. Need to get rid of the politicians for once. And listen to Maxwell Jordan, he will tell you how to get rid of the slave mode we're all in. The US gov is a corporation and they own everybody. I support the protests but not violence. Love.
