because there puting the new chip "fermi"

put it on Hard or Expert and youll see how Hard it gets .. cause they actually flank you and stuff like that

How much does fraps slow your gameplay?

I can play Crysis with everything maxed out @3840x1024 ~60fps average, but when I try to record with FRAPS it goes down to 15 fps. Any tips?

in games like arma,gta4,crysis fraps slowdown freames usualy from 60 to 15 in other games usualy you can get playable fps with recording

Calm down :). I am trying to make a video but FRAPS slows me down so much =/.

I have been playing on only one of my screens recently (Champions Online has problems with three) but I am fairly sure my average with three screens was near 60fps with the optimized ultra-high custom config and no AA. No AA is because of the lack of video memory. I never think of AA being included when I say maxed out.

Also, I think quad-sli mars might be able to run it with AA at 60. 8gb of vid RAM is no joke :D

dx10 v.high no dx9 mods iff you have 3 way ore quad sli you will not get more then 25 fps avg

On a different note, do you know if Arma 2 takes advantage of Quad-sli? I only get 25 fps with 1680x1050.

u playing on easy?? ...nice rig and settings i play at all verry high 1920x1080 with the visibility 3600..cuzz if you go higher then 3600 it makes u turn down the terrain detail :( this game is great once u get used to it (takes a week or two) 5/5 on the video

oh lol its one of the hardest games to get used too that ive played you need to make a video of this on 3 monitors lol i think thare is an option for it in the video settings on aspect ratio

whats your proc? I have 2 gtx 295's as well and I am doing okay with *all Very high. I do have my 295's OC'd though and it runs a lot smoother once the memory is OCd.

*just have to limit visibility down a little bit and lower AA.

Yeah youd get 656 thats the engine limit i think. Wont even budge 1 frame higher than 656
