Halo 3 was the true end to the awesome Halo series old-Bungie had created. Reach was a PoS, and is exactly the reason why no one cares about Halo anymore.

I interpret it this way: It brings a swell of emotions together that construct the mood of the trailer perfectly. The tag "Believe" is exactly what I feel when I listen to this. Chopin did a wonderful job instilling the emotion of hope in those who hear this portion of the piece. It makes you "believe" that there is a chance to end the covenant. Master chief is that hope.
