I wonder who's brainstorm it was to have her wear that ridiculously long dress and those big shoes to walk down those stairs - disaster :( I kept expecting her to trip. She handled the strap issue gracefully, but she can barely move period.
That performance was outstanding, however I was a little annoyed that she didn't do the 2 last big notes at the end, coz thats one of my fave moments of the song. Oh well she did the last note though. That's proof enough she still has the voice!

Well on the bright side, she's up to today's standards of people not being good singers. She's now just under Rihanna in vocal ability so that says a lot. Great intro!!!! It really showed the world what she stands for in the music industry!!! Too bad she didn't deliver it with her performance! She started at the wrong time, missed some words and was having trouble keeping up with the tempo of the song. However she handled the costume malfunction like a pro and she really enjoyed herself! But then she didn't seem to know what she was talking about during the interview. Weird I would say....

I don't understand why she did all the live performances/promo over seas. All we got was Oprah and World Music Awards. I was waiting for Letterman/The View/Today Show (oops I forgot she did do that)/ and Leno. This comeback started off good, but tanked around November. Sade's comeback was done just right. Lots of performances and great videos. Love Whitney though.
