This is 1987, yes? In which case Miami Vice was well underway. 1984, I think that started.
Maybe John should get one ear pierced, and get with the Crocket and Tubbs image properly.

It is a bit MV, yes. Baggy suit, white trousers. The shirt should be a pastel colour to really be authentic, though.
