@bedfordcrusader There's no call for that, mate.....ok, he may have been a 'stray', a straight man who apears gay but Tony's blood was as red as the vermillion oil-based emulsion he used in his impressionistic landscapes. He was married with a daughter FFS. It was ITV kids tv that was riddled with gay stereotypes...isn't that right Zippy and George?
I'm 29 now.....and brings a tear to my eye everytime i hear or c something to do with hart beat and the great man Tony Hart. When I as a kid i couldnt draw but Tony made u think anything was possible.....his enthusiasm and corrisma shone thru.....his audience were number 1. Thanks Tony 4 making my childhood that bit more special. I stil cann't draw thou...lol.
I was in my 30's when Tony was on telly and I loved watching him. Tony and Morph were magic to watch and will be sorely missed by a great number of people.
Do some research, sir! Morph is wearing a memorial armband, which is black. The Nazis wore red armbands with a white circle and a black swastika on it. SO not the same thing. Amazing that ANYONE could confuse them! Yeesh.
Top video guys - Tony would've been very impressed and moved I'm sure. Lovely touch to put a black armband on Morph. Tony was so inspirational, and he was always the perfect gentleman, not only inspiring kids with his wonderful creations, but also with his a gentle and genial persona. Keep up the good work, and very best wishes.
Please thumb down all of AGAMBEN12's comments on this video. And if Morphation reads this, please delete his comments and block him from all your videos.
....I just hope Morphation has the common sense to delete your bile and change his settings in order to avoid nasty crap like yours in the first place. It's blatantly clear your mother taught you no respect - and don't direct language like that at me - yet another clear sign of a limited vocabulary, education and ignorant personality. I blame the parents myself!... :-/
Grow up, learn some respect and go read up on the law of libel.
Anyway, I'm a strong believer in Karma - what goes around comes around - so with any justice it'll come around to you sooner rather than later. I'm not wasting my breath on you - that's exactly the attention you seek......
Because he enjoyed Da Vinci's beautiful pictures. And that's not a true story! Where the hell did you hear that you bloody bastard? Fake Stories Monthly Issue 394? You're a bloody idiot, and anyone who agrees with you is the same and then a bloody jackass. YOU IDIOT!!!!!
... APART from that, well done - and thanks for the tribute to the genius! He inspired and entertained MILLIONS of kids, and brightened up many an evening after a less than great day at school - and no doubt adults alike!! R.I.P. Tony
Morphation, can you delete the imbecile AGAMBEN12's comment & I recommend changing your settings so you have to "approve" posts in order to avoid bile like this. This guy obviously has ZERO respect for the legend that is Tony Hart, & his comments are higly inappropriate & offensive. I'm fed up with idiots like this making outrageous & uncalled for comments online - particularly on YouTube- & I think it's about time we did everything in our power to smother them once & for all! PATHETIC! :-(
Tony Hart was one of the few providers of the few fond memories I had I had as a child.
He was missed when he went off air because of his health, and he'll be missed even more so now because we know he won't be returning to our screens. At least Morph remains with us his prodigal claymation son.
i learnt so much from him, i still doodle some of the scenes he showed us how to draw. good bye tony, you were the grandad i wished i had. rest easy friend.
Well now that ive watched it a few times and seen your channel! 3 top men! i thought that was the real morph & was a clip from the tv program. you guys must have put a lot of time in making vid. goodstuff.
looking at some of the videos on youtube in tribute to Tony, has made me realise that we very rarely saw him without a smile on his face. Someone who clearly loved what he did and obviously inspired millions to do the same.
It is very sad to hear this news, almost like finding out that a member of your family had died that you hadnt seen in a long while, someone that inspired and helped you become the person you are today. I loved that show, I honestly dont think any other celebrities death would have effected me the same way.
Thank you Tony for all you have shared with us, a true Hero...
I've never been great at art myself but as a kid I used to love watching Tony on Take Hart, then Hart Beat. He was always so inventive and could turn anything from scraps of paper and bottle tops, to brightly coloured paints into a work of art. Most of all I used to love watching his larger than life outdoor pieces of art and always trying to guess what it was he was creating. I may not be great at art, but Tony taught me one thing - have a go. He will be missed, there'll never be another.
i'm not normaly the sentimental type, but after hearing today's sad news of tony's passing, i feel (like millions of others of my generation)that there is a small piece of my childhood that has passed away along with tony. thankyou for all the wonderful hours of entertainment you gave me and generations of childeren over ther the years. r.i.p tony, you will be sadly missed xx
What a very sad loss for all of us. A man who inspired more creativity in 20 minutes on TV than all the polititians in the world have ever done. We'll miss you Tony "and now, the gallery....."
Today is a sad day. Tony Hart was simply a fantasic wonderful man and even in my 43rd year of age when he came to mind I felt like 8 years old again. God bless you Tony, A REAL STAR OF A MAN.
I loved take hart. I loved it's presenter. You trusted him . He was a gentle genius. An institution has passed on to the next world. I hope he has plenty colors to chose from.
This great man was an inspiration to me as I grew up, first Vision On, then Take Hart. I think his style of show became the template for may others, and the concept of huge drawings was certainly taken on by others.
We should also not forget, he REALLY could draw and paint, and used his shows to give children ideas on how to be creative, even for those who felt they could not draw or paint.
R.I.P. tony. :'( i LOVE morph!!!
