I have seen most air bag jackets are cheaply made with a bicycle inner tube built inside. I seen jackets coming apart on there racks at shows. Where is the things like Kevlar and padding for protection. Neck bracing like the race biker use. Just my 2 cents.

I can attest to the blatant ignorance of most automobile drivers. Every accident I ever got into was the result of inattentive motorists. From being forced off the highway when they changed lanes and didn't see me because they were fumbling with their radios, or being side swiped because they were talking on their cell phones or rear-ending me at a stop light because they simply weren't paying attention. Most drivers don't shoulder check for cyclists on the shoulder and most drivers have a very hard time judging speed of cyclists or motorcyclists. It looks like a good "beginning of an idea", but it's not fleshed out enough. The trigger mechanism need perfecting. The need to attach and detach it is too much work. It would be better for it to be fitted with an electronic "range finder" that is activated when the bike starts and deactivated when the bike is turned off. It only "triggers when the range indicates the rider is no longer on the bike but the motor was still in gear and running. Other than the clunky trigger, it is a neat idea.
