even if it was left hand drive your still going to have problems in a parking space with cars on either side of you. Although you could just not use the "stupid door" and get out like you would with a normal mini, it's hardly an imposition just don't bloody try and use it where you can't. i've got an original mini and if i park it too close to a high curve i can't open the door, so you know what i do, i don't park too close to high curves.

if you stand there like a stunned mullet, any car door will prove stupid. its a easy as walking forward into the drivers opening and closing the rear door.

if there is anything stupid, and left hand drive countries won't notice this, it's that there's no rear door opening to the curb-side. so rear passengers have to negotiate with passing traffic to shuffle between the doors and get out.

Well my dad own one of those, you guys simply should close the front door (the driver's doors for english) first an then open the second door, not stoping close to the walls or fences is also advised .... otherwise buy a toyota or a GM cause Mini is an inventive brand for irreverent people.
