  • im 102 years old i live in a camp in coldbranch newbrunwick every night befor i go to bed i sit out on the rockin chair and lesitin to some good old doc watson and flat &scruggs while drinkin a big glass a wisky i think its the only thing keeping me alive

  • A great version of an old blues song, written by Kokomo Arnold (born in Georgia, 1901). Other great covers have been done by Bob Wills, Elvis Presley, Willie Nelson, and George Straight. Doc's is my favorite. Thanks for posting!

  • @squarepox I prefer Kokomo's version but Johnson is incredible. And this is an incredible cover.

  • Several years ago, I was a cook at a Pizza Hut in Boone, NC and the good Doc would come in every few weeks and get the same personal pan. And now i get to say I used to cook Doc Watson's pizza!!!
