@downloaded33 The Qur'an was revealed from Allaah to the angel Gabriel who recited it to the final Prophet sallah Allaahu alayhi wassalam. The prophet would recite it to the people and teh companions would memorize it and write it down. The quran revealed over 1400 years ago is the exact same to the letter as everyy single one in the world today. It isnt even possible to corrupt a single letter in the quran unlike the bible with all its versions and missing books etc.

You talk frequently about a weak and imperfect God but that is impossible and does not fit the definition of a God which literally means a perfect being. Again how can such contradictory, yet apparently awesome, power exist? And why does Allah need us to worship him? Surely such a being isnt so selfish(an imperfect quality) that he created us simply for that purpose. Seems more like a human characteristic than a omnipotent perfect being.

If he couldnt lift he would be weak but he can so he is PERFECT AND ALL POWERFUL. Allaah has no need of anything. We worship him for our own salvation not his. @blaze7570 Worship consists obeying Allaah in all that he commands and staying away from all that he forbids. So it isn't limited to prayer alone. Praying, fasting, charity, being patient, kind, having good manners etc are all forms of worship when the intention is seeking God's face alone. We follow the example of the prophet because the prophet only speaks and acts what Allaah commands him. We do not do any worship unless there is evidence from Allaah or the prophet's example.

@KalimaShaktide killing apostates is somethign taught in the bible also and it is mercy to mankind when done with the islaamic rules and conditions because what is there after truth except falsehood and evil and that is the only thing the apostate would spread on earth if he were to remain alive. And it is for the islaamic gov't to establish the punishment not any one, there isnt vigilantism in islaam. Hellfire is VERY hot and stopping apostates from calling people to hell is very merciful!!

You have no clue as to the context of these verses. The quran was revealed over 23 years so there is 23 years of history (and more because of the old stories of the past) in the quran. Allaah says in the quran that He did not create jinn or mankind except that they worship Him. This is the purpose of our life to worship the Creator. The religion is the guidance to how we worship Him. In Islaam, we have a step by step example of how to worship God in everything we do in life by his final prophet Muhammed sallah Allaahu alayhi wasalam who is a man and did die, but Allaah NEVER dies. We dont worship Muhammed, we worship the Allaah alone.

Christians don't believe in 3 gods, but that God works and revealed himself in 3 ways over time. Old Testament "God", New Testament "Jesus" and then after he ascended the "Holy Spirit". Christians do not actually believe in 3 "separate" gods. They believe in 1 God with three different characteristics of His being.

Jainism is one of the most impractical religion in the world. I went to a school were quite a few were Jains. I didn't see any kind of non-violence from them! Some of them learnt martial arts. @downloaded33 The Qur'an was revealed from Allaah to the angel Gabriel who recited it to the final Prophet sallah Allaahu alayhi wassalam. The prophet would recite it to the people and teh companions would memorize it and write it down. The quran revealed over 1400 years ago is the exact same to the letter as everyy single one in the world today. It isnt even possible to corrupt a single letter in the quran unlike the bible with all its versions and missing books etc.

You talk frequently about a weak and imperfect God but that is impossible and does not fit the definition of a God which literally means a perfect being. Again how can such contradictory, yet apparently awesome, power exist? And why does Allah need us to worship him? Surely such a being isnt so selfish(an imperfect quality) that he created us simply for that purpose. Seems more like a human characteristic than a omnipotent perfect being.

@blaze7570 Worship consists obeying Allaah in all that he commands and staying away from all that he forbids. So it isn't limited to prayer alone. Praying, fasting, charity, being patient, kind, having good manners etc are all forms of worship when the intention is seeking God's face alone. We follow the example of the prophet because the prophet only speaks and acts what Allaah commands him. We do not do any worship unless there is evidence from Allaah or the prophet's example.

@KalimaShaktide killing apostates is somethign taught in the bible also and it is mercy to mankind when done with the islaamic rules and conditions because what is there after truth except falsehood and evil and that is the only thing the apostate would spread on earth if he were to remain alive. You have no clue as to the context of these verses. The quran was revealed over 23 years so there is 23 years of history (and more because of the old stories of the past) in the quran. Allaah says in the quran that He did not create jinn or mankind except that they worship Him. This is the purpose of our life to worship the Creator. The religion is the guidance to how we worship Him. In Islaam, we have a step by step example of how to worship God in everything we do in life by his final prophet Muhammed sallah Allaahu alayhi wasalam who is a man and did die, but Allaah NEVER dies. We dont worship Muhammed, we worship the Allaah alone.

Christians don't believe in 3 gods, but that God works and revealed himself in 3 ways over time. Old Testament "God", New Testament "Jesus" and then after he ascended the "Holy Spirit". In fact, he sent over 125000 prophets to mankind..every single nation had a prophet without exception and they all came with the EXACT SAME MESSAGE..to worship God and God alone. this is our purpose in this life. and worshipping isnt limited to bowing but anything that pleases God from authentic sources is worship. So there is ONLY ONE TRUTH for who GOD REALLY IS and what RELIGION really is the right one, its up to us to find that

apparently there are better things to do with non believers. Killing them is quite a popular one i've heard. The hadith contains little passages like thiss too, "Paradise isin the shadow odf swords" and "Jihad is your duty under any ruler, godly or wicked".
Oh and don't forget:
"Fighting is obligatory for you, much as you dislike it. But you may hate a thing although it is good for you, and love a thing although it is bad for you. God knows, But you know not".

right fighting is from islaam and no one in the world is completely against fighting that is why every country has armies. however, guerilla warfare, suicide bombings, killing of innocents is forbidden in islaam. we cant even harm the crops unnecessarily. if you watch this vid you will see that a prophet was reprimanded for killing an ant house unjustly. in islam there is conventional war nation against nation...not civil war or guerilla war..this is just ideology of terrorism

ok i made a mistake there are few people totally against it but what type of person wouldnt fight back if his sister or mother was getting raped and killed if he had the ability to stop it? very very few. and getting raped and killed is very very evil and ugly but still not as bad as polytheism which is called shirk in arabic. and shirk is the WORST SIN MANKIND CAN DO but even Allaah the most merciful can forgive that if we repent from it before we die

Jainism is one of the most impractical religion in the world. I went to a school were quite a few were Jains. I didn't see any kind of non-violence from them! Some of them learnt martial arts. Common, if u r non-violent then y learn martial arts? They don't eat non-veg but what about plants even they have life. When a person inhales he kills innumerable microbes! These Jains should stop breathing to prevent killing microbes! I doubt if anyone today follows 100% authentic Jainism.

we dont fight and kill disbelievers randomly like you're portraying in fact the quran says whoever kills unjustly its as if he kills all mankind and whoever saves a life its as if he saved all mankind. the quran was revealed in 23 years..it has 23 years of context to it. you cant just take a verse an apply it how you like you have to see the context behind it and there is TONNES..23 years worth.

I din't say you randomly kill believers. I just said it is suggested in your texts. But yes the people who do things like suicide bomming etc are ignoring verses like "Do not destroy yourselves" (4:29)
Yes thats right, the quran was relvealed in 23 years. It was also revealed well over a millennia ago!
Of course you cn't just take out verses and apply them in your own context.

just to show you the mercy of islaam further, the prophet and companions whilst in mecca were only calling the pagans to worship God alone and shun their idols however just for this call they were KILLED, TORTURED, oppressed in most severe ways and persecuted kicked out of their lands and lost all their property and they WERE STILL NOT ALLOWED TO FIGHT and this went on for 13 years before they actually faught, so look at the patience and endurance islaam teaches.
