Do what krazykid6999 said (obviously), and use the ROB-BLS kart. Some good tricks are to hop right before you go off a jump (you'll fall faster) and to hop over and over on the way up the loops (stop when you go back down).

I use MTs and mushrooms. I can post a video later this week. It's just using good line. Watch my non-snaking video using the hurricane. If I had used MTs on that. I would have beaten the MT and mushroom Tyrant time. Which proves that the Tyrant's boost itself is almost neglible.
