It's not all you need is love, its the French national anthem "La Marseillaise"... However the Beatles did use the first few bars of this song at the start of all you need is love
@gateboyatlivedotcom you do know that chocolate can make dogs violently sick right? Just thought I'd ask. Tho I dunno if it would hurt my dogs. They all seem to have cast iron stomachs! :D
@Neiliooooo Cooked pork would not have worms - trichinosis.
It is also salt pork. The salting kills, which is why it is a preservation process.
Pork stored under 0 degrees for a couple of weeks also kills the trichinosis worm. This is also done with much commercial pork. Works at a higher temp for longer period also.
"A single meal of 600 to 800 grams of raw onion can be dangerous whereas a ten-kilogram dog, fed 150 grams of onion for several days, is also likely to develop anaemia. The condition improves once the dog is prevented from eating any further onion."
600 to 800 grams is a TON of onion. His dog would probably have to eat two or three times that amount of onion to feel any negative effects.

Did anyone else hear "All you need is Love" at about the 4:30 to 4:50 mark or is that just me?

Im sure this was just for the show, but I thought dogs are not supposed to eat pork because of worms.

I like to feed my dog chocolate-covered onions.
gateboyatlivedotcom 2 years ago
I could see giving the salt pork to the dog. But not the onion, onions are toxic to dogs.

AB would make the coolest science teacher (of course he'd have to do a bit more fact checking...)

@pedicabdr1ver actually, you would need about 1,600,000 grams to get a ton... 800 grams = 1.67lbs. A single yellow onion can weigh that much.

He shouldn't be giving onions to his dog.

One minor note (which has been added to re-runs of this episode)--don't feed onions to the dog; they'll probably eat them, but they're bad for dogs.

Dumb observation: at 8:15 AB does the Sandra Lee MMM. MM, MM, MM, thing.
I'm going to pretend that's an effort to make fun of her, although it would have been more effective with beach balls in his shirt.
