I just did this with my brother and it helps if you tilt the last portal so that when you hit the light bridge, it will knock you into the room instead of bumping you back into the goo.

there is an easier way to do the first part:

at 0:31,peak over the edge,and shoot a portal where the bridge hits the wall

Then just shoot a portal in front of you and walk on the bridge

After that,crouch on the device that creates the bridge to peak sideways and shoot a portal above you. Walk across the bridge too the end of the first part ^^

Jeez it still took us like 5 tries with the guide. The trick is to barely move left when you hit the aerial plate so there's a slight curve. Can be done without that but it helps.

I think the key phrase here is "continuously STRAFE right until you hit solid ground." that means just hold the left thumbstick to the right as soon as you take off!

BIG TIP FOR YA!! when you place to last two portals, use ur other controler for it and u go first, then the other controler goes, worked for me

It doesn't work.... I used this faith plate 100 times, from different angles, jumping on it, sprinting towards it i always end up in the goo....

at the last part stand just beside the circle on the ground and blast a portal at the same spot you will make it, i did it quite a few times in a row doing it this way

Does not work. What else did you do that you're not telling? I'm doing exactly what this says and it fails. So tell the WHOLE thing not part.

@Tye1218 I'm sorry if this didn't work for you, but I can say with certainty that the method in the video does work. Try again, but be absolutely sure not to place any portals that we don't place in the video. Even if you don't use it, placing a portal counts. A lot of people have had success using the method we use in this video. It's how I got it. No parts have been cut out.

You can make your final jump 10000x easier by shooting the portal from the far right side and dead center of the second crack on the ceiling closest to the finish door (I know it sounds confusing but once you figure it out, you barely have to move to make the jump.) I can't exactly get a video of my strategy up, but if I do, I'll throw it up as a video response :)

@ZombieMurdock667 Indeed it is! You can also actually shoot the portal from the entrance side of the room also, if you crawl to the very edge of the room. This is how we figured it out, but there are many ways to do it. You can also do the first part of the room differently, by shooting a portal from the device the hard light bridge comes out of.

@SoftlyAdverse Aww, i was just about to upload a video showing how to do this one. My friend and I did the first part a little differently, but ultimately not too much. The second part also took us about half an hour to figure out why we couldn't rebound into the little alcove, so we were overjoyed when we figured out we had to step onto the right side of the faith plate.

for the first part, if your partner (or you, just one of both) cant get down on the light path, the other can actually go on and shoot the third portal while his partner is in the air, so the path will appear under his feet

for the second, you can also press forward while looking where you want to go, it will slightly change your course and help you go to the exit
