  • interesting choice of music ^^

  • como se llama la misca??

  • for music search Władysław "Wladek" Szpilman

  • what is the music? its beautiful as is Tesla's designs

  • I mean i like classical music but classical music and a scientific experiment... (well if you can call this scientific at all)

  • pile of shit!

  • Cool

  • so dumb i do this shit every day

  • @badwild19992003 yea. but not everybody is you.

  • @KironStrife thank god

  • Very good

  • Thank you for the useful video.

  • Excellent video. See my channel electric motor new design. It is very original model of electric motor (it has no accelerating coil, special phase-shifting devices and condensers).

  • wtf mate

  • COOL VIDEO

  • it's moving! ALLAH ACKBAR!

  • You did not spin the ball bearing correctly in the stator.

  • Loved the Vid

Hey what is the song called, i like it

  • @Ronnocbot Song name ''Window Like'' Please replay video and see note on video's screen

  • @edumation Thank-you very much

  • Search "AC Windings" at Facebook.

  • Pretty cool vid...Love the piano music...Well I am a pianist myself... I could do something for you in your next video if you like... See my page for stuff I have recorded... I've worked with hundreds of people on Youtube.. :)

  • @scott93257 Yes, sure.

  • Duh...Its just a dc motor and alternating energizing coils that make everything spin. Put a bearing on each side and a shaft through the center and you built a DC motor that has been around for 100 of years. Now make it spin without using the power supply and then you will impress me :)

  • I came for Squirrels and left disappointed.

  • and i was hoping to see a squirel powered rotor or something..

  • Is "squirrel" a real name of that rotor?:Dlol

  • Funny, so i see the stator, where's the rotor?

  • Nice! What brand power supply are you using?

  • @mman454 LabVolt

  • cool video but you might scratch your winding lol

  • FREE ENERGY!!!!!

    not!

  • Is so sad. :(

    ....the music I mean.

  • fake not squirrel cage its a thermal nuclear drive.

  • Germans only regret having lost the war. They did not give up the idea of world domination.

The GESTAPO today is named BND. They tortured my brother Markus Bott during five and a half Years. He was murdered on 11.7.09. Dont believe anything Germans tell you how democratic and changed Germany is. And: Dont believe the hateful lies they are spreading against other countries like the US, Russia or China! Check out my channel and homepage.

  • @wwwtotalitaerde : Fuck you. Racist bastard.

  • @iloveanonymity I am not a racist, as this is restricted to the German state which was the Kaiserreich, the Weimar Republic, the 3rd Reich and todays Germany. It does not include former East Germany, or countries the German state today sees as being part of Pangermany, like Luxembourg, Swizerland, Austria, Liechstenstein and parts of Belgium and France. So I am not a racist, I am only denouncing todays Germanys crimes and atrocities.

  • Poor demonstration, actually. To be instructional, it requires narration.

  • its very usefull

  • what would happen if i put my dick in it?

  • @babybrutus You might develop dick cancer

  • GHEY

  • good video, good music. stimulates the brain in a good way that does not dumb you down, like most of the techno music, which is the worst.

  • why is it called a squirrel cage and not a hamster cage ?

    Where is the straw ?

  • A neat demo.

  • Is that an inductor (Toroid) of some sort.

  • @coxfox10 Which one? The part that rotates is a copper pipe

  • @edumation I know what a copper pipe is. I mean the part on the inside of the outer shell (The Gold part). It looks like a Toroid. It's a 3 phase induction motor right?

  • @coxfox10 That is the stator of a single-phase induction motor. There are two windings inside that are excited by single-phase ac supply at 240V, 50Hz

  • music and motors should not be mixed.

  • @doggy1boy Dogs and boys should not be mixed!

  • you happen to know the name of the music?>

  • -- Alert the internet squirrel heros, OEAR ©ollin logic design -Ai -element ship, calculate how Collin wins in twenty moves, use this -- sound as scroll, & design universal plan.

  • Thumbs down for the crap music.

  • @WaiteDavidMSPhysics Please read the comments below and count the ones who like it!

  • @edumation

NO. You have at this time 81 + people who like the rotor and 91 + people who are so annoyed by the lame music that they are voting you down despite the rotor. Wake up.

  • thank you for your work and beautiful video

  • @stivep1 Thankx.

  • This is essentially the same as putting a wire next to a magnet and running some current through the copper, but over complicated. It's just demonstrating Faraday's law, which is better described by the single axis wire and a magnet, as it shows the hand rules for the current, field and direction of movement. A motor is far harder to visualize mentally.

  • sooooo. u put teh squirrel in der?

  • how do you make the shaft constant spinning ?

  • @dan020350 If mounted properly, it should spin constantly

  • @msdaif give me a video link explanation on squirrel cage motor, if this is not electric induction motor.

  • @dan020350 This is a video demo of squirrel cage motor. The changing magnetic field from the stator induces current in the cage (copper pipe in video) and thus another magnetic field exists in the cage which interacts with that from the stator to produce a torque

  • @edumation If you are going to help me comprehend fully, i need to be satisfy fully. Please upload a professor like presentation what is a squirrel cage motor. I am sure wikipedia will be grateful :))

  • @dan020350 Please check ur YouTube mail box. I sent u a file

  • @msdaif thanks, i took a closer look at the pdf, its quite complex :)) i am sure the verbal demonstration would have been useful. But overall I am grateful, you introduced me to the repulsion motor :))

  • @dan020350 OK. I will make a verbally-expalined video as soon as I finish duties after August 6th.

  • @msdaif :))

  • What is with the music in this video?

  • @Grimgorus The music was from royaltyfreemusic website

  • @msdaif

At last I fond the music in an anime video !!

    Song- Photo Theme: Window Like

    Artist- Antony Raijekov

    Thombs UP !!

  • @CxC2007 It's msdaif. Thank you very much. I shall inform everyone!

  • @Grimgorus From royaltyfreemusic website

  • @Grimgorus

  • the emf generated by the eletromagnets induces a eddy current in the copper tube causing it to rotate you can see the same effect if you drop a powerful magnet down a copper tube the eddy current slows the magnet down and almost floats in the tube it also rotates in changing directions this is why it is called a type of induction motor

  • @oconnellcom Same effect

  • my name is Ayyoob. I am interested in learning how to rewind motors. Can you help me? MRSOKLA = my youtube channel.

  • @mrsokla Unfortunately, rewinding needs actual training

  • this is the most unfitting music ever for a motor vid xD

  • @cheetawolf Please read the comments and will see that 99% of viewers like it

  • Did the squirrel die? :(

  • @dasgregorian Yes it did and U?

  • Use a marker and make a single bold line or spiral on the pipe to show movement.

    Do over in focus.

  • @robertgift Thankx

  • take a steel rod and poke a couple of holes on the ends of an empty pop can and place it inside the stator. then it will spin.

  • so whats up with the sombody just died music?

  • @171apples171 Really? 99% of viewers liked it

  • y cual es el propósito de.... esto?

  • i saerches squirl and this was like one of the 1st videos. the hell does this have to do with squirls lol.

  • The video would be better if it had someone doing a voice over explaining the parts instead of some annoying song.

  • what will happen,if you put your arm in it

  • I thought there was going to be a little squirrel inside that ran in a big hamster wheel.

  • What is the name of this song????? I would really like to know!!!!!

  • nice song, what is it? thanks

  • Be careful you! This makes the danger!!!

  • Wouldn't the same effect be possible with a single phase motor?

  • This is a single-phas motor. The same effects occurs with a 3-phase motor

  • @msdaif ahhh, so you just put 3-phase in the description to throw people off... OK lol

I have a motor I can play with, but maybe when I put a can in the center it won't be empty ;-)

  • WITCHCRAFT!! WITCHCRAFT!

  • روووووعه وربي انا ادرسها محركات ثلاثي الاوجه واحادي الوجه

  • gud

  • This video is self explanatory. Adding a narration is better but it`s good to read the description text on the right hand side of this page, and to to imagine and think how it works. I can explain it but I don`t want to. There are other videos to come. But you may upload a better video. I`ll be happy to see it.

  • ¿como se llama la canción de fondo?

  • Please translate into English.

  • What's the name of the song in the background?

    Google is your friend :P

  • Forgot the title but you may find it at royaltyfreemusic website

  • lo digo para la gente que es bilingue.

  • whats the name of it?

  • I'm sorry I don't remember, and I'm abroad now I cannot access the files. But go to royaltyfreemusic website and listen to their free music. Most of theirs are really cool.

  • @msdaif when will you be back in the country?

  • Man, LabVolt really is the big name in instructional equipment for this sort of thing, isn't it? My school just got a bunch of new LabVolt training racks like the one you were using.

  • Yes, that`s a Lab Volt station. High quality equipment

  • I'll watch any video with music like this.

  • Thanks. You can listen to such music on royaltyfreemusic website

  • but you will learn nothing

  • Very interesting... could be a vdo with better image quality and res. but it is just a magnetic field effect. Did you use aluminium

  • The quality and resolution was reduced by YouTube mpg to swf converter. The original video was much more clear. I USED COPPER.

  • how that fluke were working?

  • You must be the only "noone" who doesn't understand this technology. How hard is a rotating magnetic field to understand anyway?

  • umm you dont understand it either?

  • thats the one they use to power a city

  • WHERE IS THE FUCKING SQUIRREL?

  • @DrMCP81 THAT'S WHAT I WAS THINKING! LMAO!!!

  • song name?

  • go to royaltyfreemusic . com

  • its like a 7 thousand dolar machiene and thats all it does

  • what is de name of the soung?

  • get a copper tube that will fit the hole

  • Yes but it might overheat the motor.

  • flick the ball bearing around and it will go

  • Yes but a bigger one would.

  • what is the name of this song?

  • try using a aluminum can on a stick

  • Right. I guess I'd need a higher magnetic field.

  • Try using a 3 phase stator.

  • Nice use of electromagnetic experiment.

  • Nice!!

    I'm wondering...

Can it being used at in-line main water pipe to conditioning the water...

    Ehmmm...

  • Some inventors claim they have done with unique orientation of magnetic fields. Search Google for "Ecotech magnetohydrodynamics"

  • Thanks for the reply...

    I'll try it....

    Thanks again!!

  • what's the difference between normal rotors and squirrel-cage ones? besides the fact that a little squirrel lives inside of the latter...

  • There is a wound rotor which is made up of copper winding whereas a cage rotor is made of cast aluminum. The name 'squirrel cage' was used because this rotor looks like a squirrel cage used in a circus.

  • I never thought that u could verify the rotating direction simply by inserting the pipe piece.thanks.

  • Nice demonstration, pretty fun.

Loved the song too, could you tell me what's its name?

  • I second that, I'd also like to know the song title as well, and composer please.

  • :D awesome

  • nice thing

  • ha ha....i know what u mean by orange juice :)

  • SHITBISCUITS! i just threw out one of those things!

i couldn't figure out how it worked :-(

  • See my video: Faraday's Law

  • All hail Tesla, we have a lot to thank that troubled man for.

This is a nice demo, and these demonstrations make learning easier and more motivating. Is that motor simply running on current limited AC or are you running one coil at the time?

  • This is an AC motor run on 230V 50 Hz single-phase supply.

  • No current limiting? Wouldnt that cause the motor to overheat?

  • cool music?

can you tel us wicht is?

  • SO they can cut you off for infringe on rights, and shut you down. ∆

  • I dont lnow exactly, but sounds like Jan Tiersen.

  • It looked like a teleportation to me :) 1:12

  • Good demo, an brief explanation on each stage of operation would of been helpful.

  • It didn't work!

  • It works. You need a single-phase motor.

  • WHERE WAS THE SQUIRREL!?

  • I ATE HIM HAHAHAH!!!!

  • No squirrel. The cage looks like a squirrel's cage.

  • I DON'T SEE THE SQUIRREL

  • look down it's nibbling at your nuts

  • Can you try two squirrel cages with one inverted. Like a humbucker pickup on a guitar. I think maybe that will keep the object inside the squirrel cage.
