  • You don't soking so much man....

  • how much do they cost

  • @cooliodoolio123 over 240 Dolars now 200 i thing

  • How do you delete the advertisements that come with this device? Each time i delete the track,it some how returns.

  • @lbmuscle

I think I had the same problem. I think it depends from where you do it. Be sure to browse to the file, don't play it, and remove. Otherwise, try if you can do it from your computer when it's connected.

  • very nice review mate.

  • @vibyjocke do you know if it supports MP4 video files?

  • @lavond12

Well, that's what they say, but it's pretty picky about which formats it wants to play. I've just used wmv and xvid. So it should support mpeg4, but I can't confirm it. Maybe I can try and get back to you if it works or not.

  • @vibyjocke Yeah, that would be awesome, because I'm converting all my videos and I just want to know which format I should put them in, and MP4 is what most of them are. haha.

  • @lavond12

Creative states that the Zen X-Fi supports mpeg4, but I haven't had the time test it out for my self, and I don't have it here it seems.

  • @vibyjocke it says that you can convert them to M-PEG4 320-240 format. you could convert it to that for now

  • Thanks for the review. I, initially, liked the fact that it has an expansion slot. But seeing as you can make playlists etc from it, I think I'll look for something else.

    Thanks.

  • Are the buttons comfortable to press? They look a litle bit "hard". Can you customize the four buttons at the angles of the 9 circle buttons on the center?

  • @harrymason666

Yes, they are somewhat stiff, and are easiest pressed with the nails. No, you can't customize the buttons. Also my "down"-button is barely working anymore, but I don't think it's a very common problem.

  • @vibyjocke Thanks! :)

  • @vibyjocke does the screen scratch easily?

  • @IRaymun2

Somewhat easily, it's just regular plastic.

  • gay voice

  • Are you complaining at the battery life?...

Compared to my iPod touch, that is incredible! :P

  • @TheTomD the new ipod can have 28 hours on music and 7 hours of video. :P

  • @reviewingreviews Who really does listen to 28 hours of music and watching 7 hours of videos?

  • What was that song which came with it ??

  • The usefullness of the Crystalyzer depends on the music you hear normally.

Trance and so on sound crappy using the feature,

but listening to Pop for example sounds great while X-Fi Crystalyzer is on ;)

  • thank you for the review.

  • I'll assume this is what you said (thank you Google Translate): zjebany best player I had !!!!!!!

Be careful what files meanings mobile !!!!!!! If wrzucicie file other than MP3 player to score huj! writes that he was before my time is rozpierdolił !!!!!!!!!

Failure TOTALLY !!!!!!!!! OR RESTET OR NOTHING WORKS CREATIVE gave Dupy with this shite! shit shit!

    //WTF?

  • i bought this player its great and sounds incredible!! i love the the EQ where you can set your bass to how you want it :D its a beautiful mp3player!!

  • the x-fi2 is better, but only with the new firmware, which has sorted out the screen.

  • The earphones are better on this X-Fi though.

  • yup, your right. i bought some skullcandy's for my x-fi2

  • its not better. It excactly the same! The crystalizer function too. But you know what, imo the x-fi2 sucks, just because you can only control it by using the touchscreen.

And touchscreens on mp3 players SUCK ASS and they are for pussies.

  • they fixed the memory expansion on the xfi 2 model and a new touch screen but I heard its not much diff. other than tv display and the memory card importing ability plus the the touch screen which I heard is rather slow and sluggish bummer though its a bit out of my parents price range so I think they might get this one 100 dollars is pretty damn cheap for the features this has

  • Yeah, I got a bit envious when I first heard about all that the new X-Fi would offer, but when the reviews came out I found that I'd still gone for this one :)

  • is there internet on it?

  • The 16GB model has wi-fi but you can't surf the web, it only supports instant-messaging.

  • Can you watch movies on it?

  • Does the play screen have a spot for album art?

I bought one from the internet so if it does, then I'll add album art to all my songs.

  • Yes it does. Album art has to be implemented in the mp3 file, and then the file has to be sync'd with Creative Centrale for it to work.

  • i am about to buy this man....but i am in doubt about this and the ipod classic...any advice?

  • Depends on what you value. The iPod C. is bigger and heavier but has more space for media. The Zen is the opposite.

  • i cant belive it freezes mine does to and itsa a creative zen vision m

  • The 1 thing I want to know is can you drag and drop files and folders into this. And can you arrange your music in the order that you want?

  • The players sorts music according to the id3-tags. If you want to sort yourself in folders and such that is only possible if you save them on the memory card.

  • Thanks so much for telling me this. I don't like that.

  • Transcode and sync them over. For transcoding, I'd recommend MediaCoder, and for syncing I'd recommend either the software that comes with the player or Winamp.

  • im gonna choose tis ovr the nano bt he1gb version

  • Fina naglar Åke //Mens

  • Tack jag behövde verkligen det (a)

  • Y the hell r u looking at his fingers!!!!!!!!!

  • I don't mean to be rude...But if you're going to do close-up reviews of small devices...PLEASE get a decent manicure!

I'm wincing at those ragged cuticles...And it distracts me from looking at the device!

  • are you a fag or something?

  • how did you get the videos did you burn them?great review

  • Burn them :S? Do you mean how I got the videos to the player?

  • yes

  • I converted them with a program called MediaCoder and then I drag-and-dropped them onto the player through Winamp.

  • did they come with the device

  • No, but it's a freeware program.

  • my budget is up to about £200

but i want something whitch isnt hugeee

is there any good mp3 whitch are smallish and have video playback?

    thanks-Haryy

  • Well if you wan't smallish you can rule out the apples. I can't really recommend anything special, but think about what you think is important (wireless, screen size, portability, memory etc). I think almost all players with color screens supports video playback nowadays so that won't be a problem. Personally I enjoy my Zen X-Fi very much, even though it's a budget player.

  • should i get this or a ipod touch'?

  • It depends on your budget, since this player costs half as much as the touch. Otherwise I think the touch is better since it has a larger screen, apps and web-browsing.
