Really simple to beat this guy. At club Tityboo buy a DCMC pamphlet and enter the battle with the guy. While the battle takes place go to items and select it. It'll say something like "he just had to admire the pamphlet." You can use the pamphlet unlimitedly and make him unable to attack. keep the pamphlet cuz u fight a stronger version of him later.

No you are not, however you will need to level up more and use that DCMC correctly. I also suggest shrinking down his attack and defence, as it makes the battle easier.
