This has been childishly taken out of context. The interviewer didn't understand what Obama meant to say when he corrected "Christian faith", because Obama really did mean to say "Muslim faith". Unfortunately Obama repeated the words "Christian faith", giving the impression that he misspoke earlier.
They were talking about how some Republicans were indeed suggesting that Obama is a Muslim. "McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith" as in McCain hasn't himself accused Obama.

@airmanmatthew The verse you mentioned is talking about a very specif group of Jews called the ppl of Saturday , which you can say wanted to "play" with Allah , So Allah punished them very hard ,and we do believe that Allah the creator of the universe can do any thing to any one he wants ,with the same logic : try burning Torah at an Israeli settlement , then see could you done it , or you dead before you could try , Iran represent the Shia only ( about 10% of Muslims ) , the rest are Suna

@CUjoBitME There are different versions of the Quran from what I understand. The majority read the Quran where it's actually a peaceful religion where there is no promotional hatred towards people of other faiths. It also states that a Muslim cannot at all attack another nation because of their beliefs and can only defend themselves and their faith. This is the older version...The newer versions are corrupt by Wahhabism from Saudi Arabia in the 1920s that tell people to kill who are different.

I imagine a stigma would be just as likely against buddhism if a small fringe element of that religion started Buddha bombing.
Get over your fear people and see things how they are not what you fear them to be. Islam is an extraordinarily beautiful religion and I consider myself non religious.
