I was born in 1970 and I only eve saw the syndicated versions on TV. Still more than good enough for me. This show is my all time favourite show when I was young ever. As I live in Australia, WB put out a R2 and R4 DVD set of season #1 with the 36 30-minute shows on it. And I own this DVD. For the very first time I was able to see Danger Island in the proper original broadcast order and it actually is a really good serial with a great plot.
there was a shorter version of "adam had'em" that was featured in the 1969 Guiness book of world records as the song with the fewest lyrics. the only other words were "doo-da-day".
@67nairb that no matter where in life you are as a guy, you will always have women trouble. that is of course, back THEN, when they expected that you had a strong possibility of being with a woman if you were male. Don't take my word for it. Read the lyrics
@rrrripbing Ya know? I was born in 1967 and have no recollection of watching the BANANA SPLITS on Saturday mornings during the late 60s and early 70s. It wasn't until the year 1976 when they were syndicated on WPIX Channel 11 New York that I first saw the BANANA SPLITS and I immediately loved the show and characters too. Shame I wasn't a kid or teenager in the 1960s and I could've seen the BANANA SPLITS when it first aired in it's original form as the BANANA SPLITS ADVENTURE HOUR.

Yup!! Adam had 'em all right! If you know what I mean! Heh! Heh! And I don't mean "Troubles with his baby!"
