For the people wondering, I'm pretty sure the boy have a camera in his hands and walks backwards. It's actually an image of a boy filming someone. That would explain the lighting, the boy actually is filming someone facing the sun therefore that person is lightened by the sun while he is dark. It could be a statement about the filmaker fading in front of his work and at the same time a narcissistic counter-view of the same idea maybe.

he is walking backwards. you can´t almost notice but its a very nice simple detail witch can mean a lot in this minimalistic short video. maybe he is returning to the inexistence...to the point that we are all waiting to born for the first time.

As much as I enjoy Chasny's work, and the video for Shelter from the Ash, this video just doesn't do much for me at all. There's many other songs that could have made for a better music video.

I guess I should better clarify my statement, since everyone hates me for having an opinion. The song is fantastic, but the video is not. It's just two boring scenes stretched out for 3 and a half minutes. My point was that there's better songs *TO BE MADE INTO VIDEOS* than this one.

screw you dude. If you want to watch something a little more entertaining then you can go do that. This video works just fine with this song. Maybe you're just use to tpain videos or something. The video is good, and the song is better.

That, my friend, is your opinion. I, on the other hand think this video is boring. Could the director have been more lazy in making this video? The last 3 minutes are a slow motion fade out shot of a man walking. WALKING. Is it really that difficult to think of something else to put in there? I could have stopped the video at the 45 second mark, and lost nothing. Nice little jab there with the Tpain comment. I happen to like Six Organs a lot.

Just as you said, I'm my opinion just as it is yours. I don't think this video is boring at all. LIke that guy said, it's beautiful. It doesn't have to have a lot of things going on in it to make the video a good one. I think it goes well with the song + it's a great video. If you don't like it then go watch something else.
