The act of You show me yours and I'll show you mine is making a comeback! I attend the University of Cincinnati and this is on my "things to do" list. But as I was saying fellow students aren't so hesitant to show you they are interested and want to fool around. Nobody is shy anymore! Doesn't matter if you're a guy or girl....I am curious and want to take a look etc...and if I like what I see, then it can progress to You touch mine and I'll touch yours! Steve
To go further, I was horrified when a 16 year old boy was jailed for consensual sex with his 15 year old girlfriend, upheld on appeal "because one gender has to be guilty". Romeo and Juliet? Not this century.
Not doing yourself any favours here, Mr King. Listening to this knowing the person who wrote and sang it is a convicted sex offender gives the song a creepy, sinister feel. Most people have memories of childhood `frollicks` but thats where it ends. You dont go and post a song about it on YouTube. And just how did playing `doctors and nurses` as kids bring about the nations downfall? Are you getting that mixed up with something else perhaps? Explain please?
Avoiding the fact that the vocal is dire, whatever you were trying to say with the lyric did not get said! Childish naivete & exploring sexuality is not something for you to sing about. Kids probably still do it but as an adult, it should be personal nostalgia of a moment long gone, not something you're yearning for in your senior years. Add to that the fact that you're trying to put fancy words in where they don't fit and I reckon it's a Miss?
What an absolute load of utter rubbish mcp666. Are you saying people cannot write songs about whatever they damned well feel, including childhood and sexuality? What planet are you from? I have very fond memories of my childhood and yes, had sexual feelings aged just five. That is perfectly natural. Call the song 'crap' if you will, but don't you dare say 'it's not allowed!' Outraged...England.
Mr Adams? You seem to have missed the point. I never said 'it's not allowed', I simply meant its not something a responsible adult should be singing about. After all, there are people out there that might get the wrong idea? ;-)
It is perfectly acceptable for an adult to sing about his childhood days. I'm 35 now but when I was in school (all boys school) I bonked every boy in my class apart from two (they were fat) - Now i sing it from the roof tops.
This is great, how innocence has been perverted to something "dirty". Once again I am in awe of your talent.

it's about how if you tell kids sexuality is bad and wrong, they'll grow up to be messed up and frustrated

"Wrongly" convicted Benzi - and the lyric is about the death of innocence. These days "frolics" are a criminal offence.

Oh dear this one just isnt very good J.K. I would like to say
"Its a delightful poignant little ditty". But isnt any of those adjectives.
"Its charmingly maladroit and fills me with ennui and desperation" which is my euphenism for "crap".
