Cool idea...get rid of the damn 97 cent knife though brother its more dangerous than helpful. You can't skimp on your blades ...you don't need to spend a mint on one either get like a little Gerber or Buck lite please ..don't want ya cutting yourself down to the bone when the Walmart special breaks..and it will trust me lol

the 4 things you need to worry about: Fire, water, food, shelter, first aid, signaling.

fire-> you should add a firesteel, works forever, eaven when wet

water--> not covered at all, ass some water tablets, water is important

food--> add some snare wire, and small fishing kit, to be able to get some smole animals to eat

shelter--> some zip ties would help and some cord

first aid-->> add some plasters and bandage, mabe some aspirin

signal->> nice covered :)

Ok good kit get some lithium battery's for the flashlight and make the flashlight led look that up on youtube and put you matches in the whistle and go to a boy scout place and get the fire steal there I got my fire steal there and it works great plus its small to

@etnikomusikero No i dont think it is made by coleman and yes it dose have a small rod with it but if you dint know it was on it when you unwind the rope it falls right off

them survival blankets are good however they have a tendancy to make me sweat heaps so i use a aussie issue army blanket from summer very light,warm and no sweat

i have the same 5 in 1 tool and that knife....the knife is a lot better than what people think...i have a video of a knife wound from that knife....you should watch it....there's pictures of it right when it happen....i like this back up kit because its small and practical.... 5/5

keep the blanket, even if ya dont use it for a blanket you can use it to help make a shelter. If your matches havent been already, dip them in melted parafin wax to seal em and put a strike strip in your waterproof whistle. Add paracord to each kit as well.

Good survival kit! You might want to add some type of food such as oatmeal or crackers. Also, you might want to get water purification tablets. (you can buy them at Walmart for $6) Other than that, great job!

take that survival blanket out. they dont work worth shit. i tried one. they dont keep in body heat and there is no way in hell you can go to sleep under it either cause they make a crinkleing noise when you move.other than that thats a good kit.
