This win7 commercial is so stupid and doesn't make sense. You need a special proprietary software to do what is on this commercial. I know the media center extender I have (xbox360) doesn't do that. That is what they are implying because of the 360 controllers. The only way to stream videos on the internet is through a win media center plugin.
Intel's page on Wireless Display Technology says a 2010 Intel Core Processor is required. It also says Intel Advanced-N or Ultimate-N wireless is required.
I can't see any reason for this, since other types of network display extension already exist without need of a special processor, or special wireless.
I really hope these aren't actually prohibitive requirements, but rather, a restriction for laptop manufacturers wanting their product to have the Intel Wireless Display logo.

@Mrxb0x Macs can play a huge portion current games and a decent amount of games from the past. Also, even if the game isn't supported in Mac OS, at least they can boot camp into Windows.

@Mrxb0x Lol 6fps thats a good one. You obviously have not seen the mac pro. While not as good as my pc it is still good enough to get a frame rate well over 6 fps.

@Mrxb0x Or I could get a pretty decent computer with the OS I prefer that is great for graphic design and comes with moderately good software so I don't have to go out and pay for it. Don't get get me wrong I do love windows but your arguments are just silly.

@Tartrus1 They make perfect sense. You can get a pc that will last longer ( I mean it will not be outdated right away), will be more powerful, be more compatible, has just as good software not to mention a far greater amount of software to choose from. And if you think you're not paying for that software you get with your mac you're a moron, that is part of the reason its so expensive. But even if you buy a pc and the software its STILL cheaper.

@Mrxb0x Hahaha Did you actually read my comment thoroughly? 1. I never said your arguments didn't make sense I said they were silly 2. I never said that I wasn't paying for the software I said I didn't have to go out and buy it. It is still cheaper then if you go out to but it anyways. The outdated argument doesn't work because you can call apple and customize your computer with high end hardware. I like my mac because of the OS not because of hardware. Oh and I could also just run parallels...
