You'd just grab your hair vertically; start parting it from the top and move it straight down to the bottom! It's pretty simple :D

You should keep your hair as healthy as you can so you won't have to give it regular trims, but if it already has split ends, you should get rid of them ^^;

No, I don't ^^; I just brush my bangs to the side after I'm done washing my hair and they'd dry that way. I did, however, made a video on how to style side swept bangs for those who need it! You can try to search for it on my channel :)

I use Tresseme Heat Protectant and it's pretty good :) Just using a heat protectant won't completely protect your hair from the heat; it just minimizes it ^^; The best way is not to use heat at all xD

It could be many factors.

What curling iron size are you using? What's your hair type? How long is it? How are you dividing your sections? Did you make sure to run your fingers through your waves to loosen them up afterward? ^^;

I just did everything I did in the video :3

If your curls doesn't hold well, you can grab each section of hair you've curled and roll them in a circle with your fingers; then, pin them to your head with bobby pins. After you're done, remove all the bobby pins and your curls would be more defined and hold better throughout the day =)

Loads of hairspray will actually weigh down your hair and ruin your curls ^^;

You should try to bump up the heat setting on your curler and apply heat protectant beforehand.

Also, I've heard that it helps not to wash your hair the day before! (:

you can get loose curls with a flat iron too, but it's not the same kind that you'd get in this video. With a flat iron, just quickly curl your hair in different directions and keep running your hand through the curls to loosen them :D
