Those beepers on the debarkers are the stupidest things ever. I took mine off right away. I mean seriously -- if the roaring motor and whizzing blade aren't enough to keep people aware of the danger then they deserve to be debarked. Friggin' lawyers. Oughta debark them.

Nice mill. Newer than mine. I still have the old clamping system, which sucks. Belt-drive debarker too. It still saws logs just fine though. Nice vid!

Do you make good money doing that? Is there much of a demand for it?

The money for it is decent. Demand can vary alot especially from one region to the next. I do it as a side job.

woodmizers are not cheap for sure. But I'm sold on their design. They manke cutting lumber easy so I can concentrate on the log and its potential value. I definetly wouldn't be doing this if I didn't absolutely love doing it. I've sawn in blizzards before!
