I got to hand it to Lena for being able to own this character, she even makes her voice sound different (on top of changing accent). I mean she made her voice gruffly and tough. If you see her in an interview, completely different person. Now that is called acting.

and one thing i think is confusing...at the beginning sarah sais, that skynet sent 2 terminators to kill john and one to protect him....so u understand what confuses me? off course it is more likely, that cameron was captured and reprogrammed, rather than skynet sent her, but it sounds a little strange anyways....nevertheless, the show is pretty cool and summer glau is pretty impressive as cameron!

weomm from the writing, i think i can hear a bit of foreshadowing (or pastshadowing?) that future cameron and future john -were- hooked up. and she must have died accidentally somehow in the war. so he bioniced her to help him (now john) save the world.

that's my guess. and i also appreciate that future john thinks his mom is the best fighter against the machines in the world. given her knowledge of the machines and her mysterious 'cia/nsa/etc' training, that's not a surprise.
