This is a old Gherson clone of the Rick of the 70ies which Gale customized the electronics and pickups. For the rest is a very close copy.

Kinda cracks me up, because last year I taught a bass player friend of mine the same bass line, and I have played it with him at jam sessions.

However, I would play a G chord on the guitar during the second "loser" just before "And I am not what I appear to be". I really don't want to disagree with Mr. Fruda, because he seems to always be right about Beatles songs, but I would play that G chord right before the E chord.
