  • Do you have any stone you are willing to sell?

  • looks like obsidian. is it it?

  • @stidumaron It is dacite from Oregon, very similar to obsidian except it is not transluscent

  • hey, i have some old antlers lying around that i want to make billets out of, could you tell me how, or point me to a website/vidoe? thanks

  • i have to make one for school and this really helps me !!!

    thanks

  • Great job Jim. The two strikes at 8:12 really smoothed out that face. It's been so long since I've even touched a stone. You wouldn't think I was the type to knap any more. But I still like watching. And you do some great work 5*

  • Nice stone jim, love the hairybone whacker.

  • Looking good again, just notice you have a lot of Dacite, do you ever work with Texas chert without heat treating? It is

    tuff to work like that.

  • Yes, Texas rock, especially Pedernales, is one of my favorites and most of it works well raw....

  • Good to have you back. Your billet work has really improved. Jimmy
