  • WTF is this video about lol how many people play mario sunshine? This video is irrelevant. I want to see how playing first person shooters (and other violent games) influence people cause this kind of games are played massively. My opinion is that if nothing else they make violence and wars appear more normal and acceptable in society which is definitely not a good thing.

  • Video Games = Some what actully educational/infromational

  • hmm.. so writing tests and quizes aren't violent? funny. as we all know: words are deadlier than swords

  • Lol I'm 14 and I've played triple the amount of gaming hours! NO LIFE!

  • @Drpwnage9000 o.0

  • Read her book, it's excellent

  • I had to watch a commercial for a video game before I could see the video.

  • I think this has been lost on a few people. 10,000 hours is the time it takes to become a master of something. She is simply trying to ascertain what affect this has on an individual. It does not need to be a literal translation (duh?) but the way you problem solve, interact, and utilize abstract thinking. If you think that 10,000 hours of doing that doesn't mold your mind a certain way you are saying that experience in general does not affect your decisions.

  • will everything has good side and bad side so you can play video games for fun and u can play to know stuff like for example i dont know alot about cars so you can play GT5 you wouldnt be an expert but ull take a backround. alot of other games can be good.and thats a good side but if you play like 6-8 hours then thats the bad side i mean i dont really know but thats what i think.

  • 10,000 hours of video gaming at the age of 21...

I'm 16 now and I know that I have at least 5 times as much game time...

(My average game time in the pokémon games I own is 100 hours...)

  • @gurra991 So then correlating with this research you will be 5 times more like to do illegal animal fights. (jk! :])

  • I play GTA and the only thing i steal is 35 cent gum. ARREST ME PLEASE!!!! IM A BAD PERSON.

  • she's explaining certain games that has these features that could make people get motivated to save the world, but i think some games don't have the features that she means.

Can gamers save the world? It's still a question without an answer yet

  • yawn

  • also, try this: make a list of games, games uve played, games u have, u heard about, visit some game sites, flip thru the pages of game informer and u dont even have to research the game, but just from the title, u can tell that most of the games are about violence, disorderly conduct, profane, evil as in demonic, witchcraft in most of them, and in most, evil wins, happy case is where even the good guy has the evil side, & flips from one to the other. then think how it all started & the games t

  • @atamotua64

a). games containing violent and disorderly does not translate into your child commiting those in the real world (that's an excuse used by bad parents and delinquents who havnt had their Ritalin)

b). nothing wrong with witchcraft, last time i checked wiccans actually exist

c). evil doesn't usually win in these games, however is usually some kind of impasse (just like in real life)

  • @atamotua64

if you play a game that features violence/theft and then go out into the real world and commit violence/theft THEN WERE ARE RETARD TO BEGIN WITH and will now hopefully get the help you need.

  • @types10000 i dont know where you get your info... just as an example, listen/watch some Ivor Myers videos like "Dangers of Video Games - Its Not A Game" and "Battles of Faith Game Of Death" and "Sonic Warfare"...

  • @atamotua64

No part of your comment addresses my arguments:

    - in THE BULK of games the good guys win

    - there isnt anything wrong with witchcraft, wiccans .etc do exist

    - if your child thinks it is ok to apply violent video game scenarios to the real world they already need mental help (and the video game is just making the defect more apparent)

  • some games are ok, but doesnt she also know that what ppl put in their brain that's what comes out? no one can give of what they dont have, and just the same, u can only give of what u have stored in the brain. so 10000+++ hours of violence is ok for a child? thats desensitizing military training. but we're shocked at the sight of countries who do real life military training with children.

  • @atamotua64 not all games are about violence , plus she did make some games that could have help this world in past few years... watch her on TED talk. its actually inspiring, if you think usefully, instead of criticing without understanding much

  • Playing video Games Enhances your thinking power! Video Games reduce pain and Anxiety! Video Games help you develop better eye sight! Video Games strengthen Familial bonds! Video Games keep your heart Healthy, and Video Games make you a better Driver! *blog.games.yahoo.com/blog/395-5-ways-video-games-are-good-for-you*! blog.games.yahoo.com/blog/183-wii-is-good-for-your-heart! blog.games.yahoo.com/blog/184-researchers-video-games-ease-pain-reduce-anxiety*!

  • There was a study touted some 2 years ago, that playing violent games actually decrease RL violence; I haven't heard anything about it since then, however.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! this is ridiculous, PLEASE, if foraTV watch this post, PLEASE ANALYZE ME!!! this woman is soo wrong!!!

if i havent had computergames i would never catch the interest of the field thats my strong side today! i dont recall any of the symptoms she mention!

  • @freddyen

Perhaps we didn't watch the same video. She was arguing for the POSITIVE aspects of gaming. How in the world you could misunderstand this video so completely is absolutely baffling to me.

  • @freddyen Watch her TED talk about video games. That way you can fully understand what she is campaigning for. She is also a video game design btw.

  • The fact that this lady spends her nights awake wondering about things makes me wonder about things...

  • wow...... this is stupid. stop ranting on video games, theres nothing to talk about it, its a choice to play and we can keep it as our lifestyle. there is nothing you can do to stop us from playing games, go ahead, cry.

  • @1Rockyboxer1

Your statement reminds me of the classical theory in criminology, where people choose to commit crimes.

  • @espakor really? show from many fucks as Jack.T who think games cause crimes, it doesn't, kids are offer games only if parents are willing to teach what is in the today games. Games have nothing to do with the crimes going on, its just parents who really are lazy.

  • @1Rockyboxer1 Well, it would be statistically wrong to say any games, violent games as well, doesn't effect the minds of those who play the games. Media affects human brain one way or another. There are actually a few people who commit crimes based on the theme of GTA or some other unrealistic nonsentical bollocks of games.

  • side effect: idk how to talk to women

side effect: I don't have close friends that I don't play games with

but who cares, games rock if they have enough detail and diversity.

    THAT MARIO GAME PWNED

  • why are adults doing all this research into why we like games? so, our generation likes high advansed technology, what do u want us to do? play with a tree?

  • her heart is in the right place, but this is bullshit

  • high school kids don't find Super Mario Sunshine interesting. When they get out in the real world people aren't always going to be nice to them, if they are familiar with violence they will be better off. But if it turns into something like hitting their parents because they don't get what they want, that's another story.

  • violent video games desnt bring out violence in kids? dumb abusive parents and environments and parents who are over protective are more likely to have an abusive child, kinda like you are what you eat, but you are where you have grown up.

  • lol when she said "games which require cooperation" I think shooting games, not Super Mario Sunshine. Put her back in the kitchen, she is making a fool out of herself.

  • @BowToMySkill In amerika we give money away for scratching paint!

  • I LOVE video games. :) Thank the Unholy Pandas for this video.

  • dude ive beenplaying games since i was 3 im 14 now and this shit is all fake id say ive done triple 10000 by now this is bs i play all types of games as if i wanna help ppl

  • Most people who have problems have financial issues. I doubt those with problems can even buy games. Also, people play violent video games because they are fun. Surveys don't mean 'scientific research' it just means 'hey we got random gamers who are violent'. Also i play video games and my life is just fine. I don't think of it as an 'escape' i think of it as a great way to have fun.

  • There is some truth let's face it. Todays kids play games on a larger scale with these consoles, internet and msn stuff. It is a bad development. Too much technology causes individualism, addiction, bad influence and frustration. Kids get of your ass and change the world.

  • @royalsteven what if we dont want to

  • Welll then face the consequences.

  • @royalsteven what consequences? i play video games alot but i'm one of those world of warcraft freaks, iv'e met people whove played video games their entire lives and they have a good education and a good job. we'll be just FINE

  • Let´s hope so. But often signs of addiction are not clearly seen (but later on) and addicts often deny they do not have problems while they have -__-

  • @royalsteven im not an addict, and i know im not an addict

  • Ok, if you say so :D

  • @Haloskulls117 That takes serious amount of self control in balancing game enjoyment and real life. But it is possible, not everyone are the same as you obviously know.

  • @royalsteven theres nothing to face you idiot...

  • if you say so!

  • Ok everyone has problems. But I'm 13 and, and I was raised to deal with problems instead of run away from them. But most of us just wanna have fun. Now I do agree, and I've seen first hand that some smaller kids are very impressionable when it comes to violent video games, but I don't think would the effect would be as great with a pro social game because with most gamers, loud, in your face, violent games hold attention better. Idk. But most of the time, it's just fun. And you're overreacting.

  • @bamabound97 I wonder when they will create social t.v. shows and books? No one complains about how reading too much ruins your social life.

  • games arent the only reason poeple are voilent everyone has the aggretion trigger

  • if you play css it leads to one thing good old weed XD

  • I love video games but there not my life. Ive been playin video games for a long time and they havnt affected me at all. I used to play mortal kombat when I was a child and it didn't have any affect on me. Point is people are makin a big deal out of video games. Oh and I'm never gonna use video games to escape from problems that I have

  • Super Mario Sunshine? ON WII??

    I lol'd.

  • @pkmninja0271 It got ported

  • @Kazic5000 I meant I lol'd at how she used such an old game as an example.

People that played it for original GC wouldn't play THAT anymore. :\

  • Bitch out of all the problems in the fucking world you nag about video games?Use your energy for something useful and save a starving child in Sierra Lione

  • People play video games for fun and shit damn.... Not everything has to have an effect of anything

  • Yes. All of this really affects my real life. Whenever I play Mario I have the sudden urge to save a Princess from a castle. Whenever I play Sonic I have the urge to go running. Whenever I play Halo I have the urge to go fight aliens 4 centuries in the future to save humanity. Whenever I play CoD I have the urge to fight in a world war. Whenever I play Gta I want to steal cars. Point? This is BULLSHIT

  • Side Effects...Well I've been telling teachers my goals are to kill Dragovich...sooooo?

  • @alexmatt79 lol i told them i have to figure outwhat the numbers mean and they were like whaaaaaaaat!...

  • People: I was critical of Jane McGonigal at first, but if you actually VISIT her website, she has some really interesting ideas. I've been a longtime gamer, many of them violent and so on (shooters and RPGs are my favorite). One thing I noticed when multiplayer games started becoming popular is how many assholes there are online. If Jane McGonigal is promoting the idea and the study of pro-social games that will help gamers to become better people overall, then I applaud her and you should too.

  • Side effects? I have been jumpin on turtles and eating mushrooms a lot more.

  • These analysis are ridiculous. Of course if you look into anything hard enough your bound to find evidence of beneficial aspects or negative aspects. Nothing is 100% bad or 100%good.

That being said I don't know what moron would try to argue that you should encourage kids to play games.. Can it have positive impacts on *some* type of problem solving? Sure why not. Does it tend to fuck up your social life? For sure. Is it worth it? Fuck no.

Not to mention developping a 3s attention span.

  • @nunoooooooooo What you're saying is true of the games industry as it currently stands. I think she's pointing out what games have the potential to be, and she seems to be trying to get the industry to move in that constructive direction. The game technology itself doesn't care whether it's used constructively or destructively. I think she's saying, since it can be used either way, let's use it the good way. I don't hear her saying "Make sure your 5-year-old racks up the frags every day."

  • Clearly did not play Bioshock.

  • 10,000 Hours of Video Games is getting your arsses Fat !!!

  • If a game designer is going to win a Nobel Peace Prize, I'd put my money on Shigeru Miyamoto.

  • Dear god, that means I am in the extreme minority. 10,000 hours? What?

  • The only games I play are ones I can take apart - hack, if you want.

Edit the program data, make new textures, models, maps, sometimes even scripts.

    How do I fit in?

  • NOT TRUE

    GIRLS R 50%

    boys r 97%

  • this is what we have drugs for.

  • HOW ABOUT YOU DO A STUDY ON TRASH TALKING 15 YEAR OLD

PWNED YOU NUUB MOFO DOUCHE YOUR MUM

  • None of the games that she cited are on anyones worry list. She should be making the case for the social well being of Grand Theft Auto.

  • "three quarters of people who bought a music based game went on to learn play a real instrument" - complete bullshit and expected when the makers of Guitar Hero and Rock Band 'collaborate' (pay) with 'scientists' (students) to determine a conclusion that fits in with their market strategy.

  • really can you really gauge this kind of stuff. Hell no there are so so many variables that make this bull. Take these stats and add it to the other side of bible thumpers and parents that dont watch their children and say tv and video games are the devil. You can make any stats you want everyone is different. Parents watch, pay attention, and raise your kids if you did it right then they will control their own future not the video game character or "celeberty or tv character

  • Kids that watch much tv have it harder to concentrate in school, will games have the same effect?

  • Ive had waaay more...

  • 10,000 hours is nothing for wow players.

  • so... I'd actually be curious to hear about statistics concerning TV 'intake' over the past 3 decades... my guess would be that as people play more games, their watching of tv declines, so that the screen time actually remains the same. I'm willing to bet that statistics like those would not go down well with tv stations hyping the violence in video games :D

  • I found silly that she said we play video games to go out of this world and dont want to deal with out problems in real life. Lady... some of us just want to just play for fun not t cuz we have problems.. yes some do have problems but not saying everyone does. Just sayin ;)

  • @hajarveivi yeah but it's true for ppl who play video games all the time.

  • @hajarveivi

If you were having enough fun outside the game, you wouldn't need to play it to get your fun-fix. It's not as though the people she's talking about are sniveling messes, unable to keep it together outside of the video game and self-medicate with play, it's people like you and me who have to retreat into them to have fun. Escapism.

  • @hajarveivi True enough. And not EVERYone drinks booze to get drunk.

  • @hajarveivi yes, tests like theese should be tested by actual gamers, not people like her

  • @hajarveivi yea and how is this any different than watching movie or reading books? every medium is an escape from reality.

  • @hajarveivi she meant global issues, ecologic, technologic, socio-politic, economic problems which are currently insolvable.

  • @hajarveivi

Ah... what? She used that as an example of common prejudice against gamers. That wasn't her opinion. Did you even listen to what she said?

  • @hajarveivi And most of the time video games have more problems then in real life.

  • @hajarveivi Are you shitting me? Have you watched the news or even looked outside to see the state of the world? Its fucked....EVERYONE has problems! This woman makes perfect sense....

  • I think video games can indeed be elevated to something worthy of a Nobel Prize once the narrative of many video games becomes sophisticated enough to be on par with that of a good novel or well written screenplay. If you look at early video games, say from the 80s, and compare them to games of today, you can see that the storytelling in video games is indeed becoming more substantive and socially relevant. Video games maybe the next medium to transmit cultural ideals.

  • why do they need such a big and tall screen , far away from the host

  • Random thoughts... so 70 some odd percent went out and played with a real guitar after working with one in a game - any corrolation when they played with a simulated gun? BTW, what were the sales of co-operative games as compaired with mass distruction games? As far as the peace prize, if al and barac can get one, they ought to be in specially marked cereal boxes.

  • this video is stupid, you people are stupid as wel. thats it! hehe no im joking of course, but listen up. Maybe there is no way to predict the future of gaming,...i mean, do u remember what people were thinking about computers when they showed up?

  • 92.6% of statistics are made up to support and legitimize a held position.

  • Sounds great to turn a negative influence to a positive but it sounds like the stats are made up to support the idea.

  • Gaming is just another part of our evolving culture. It may be not so excepted now, but it will be in the future.

  • That last study is probably questionable given that a large percentage of kids have to take a musical instrument in school anyway. Maybe they corrected for this somehow?

  • Lol if I do 2hrs of video games a day and I'm awake 14 hrs, that means 15% of my life is in front of the computer! That's a lot!

  • I did a rough average of my videogame playing in an average school week. Approx 5 hours/day on the weekend, (I used to do more, but I decided a few years ago to never do more than 5hrs/day), and 1hr/day when I can get it on the work week, but not getting any 2 days. That's 2.1 hrs/day*365days/year*10 yrs = 7821hr. I'm 18, so I guess that statistic is pretty realistic for me.

  • Why does every reasearcher think that these games are making people smart? Every kid I have met who plays a lot of video games are dumb, thin white kids. When you know more about World of Warcraft than the country you live in. There's a problem.

  • @TheTruth006

I'm going to have to call bullshit on this. Wowtards who're who're dumb AND thin? No way!

  • i play games

  • @ihateslideshows Me too!

  • Tits!

  • So Super Mario really can save the world.

  • ive spent about 20% of my life playing games and im 18 years old.

  • You notice how she started by mentioning how media assumes that games bring violence into children ( or have them to enact on it ) but she then goes into studies that are Pro gamer and pro-social gaming lol

    2:30

So by that "Pro-Social gaming" study, that means all you Modern Warfare people are going to go out and destroy shit...

    *Grabs gun* looks around * >: O

  • @ITheProfessorI

Yeah i know all she did was just provide a spacer between 'acceptable games' and 'withnoevidencewhatsoever- unacceptable games'..

Fucking hell. I have played video games all my life, litterally, at least once a day i play on a PC game.. Yet im starting a decent career, aint been in a fight since i was 12, in a decent steady relationship, blah blh blah...

You get my point. if someone is to be ill affected by a game, it was their personality, not the game.

  • @Tait011

Yea, the only thing I could say based off of what I have seen and what I've experienced myself is:

In the moment of playing, things can happen ( tempers rise, aggressive attitudes, etc. ) but after it's a-ok.

To try and make the case in a "Long term, life changing" type of effect, eh.

If this woman and the study was able to say something positive, then great I guess but personally, it's such a waste of time to me...( I'm a pc gamer myself )

  • if it wasnt for online games i wouldnt have learned english- i woudnt go to engand and get a job, now i make more money than my parents both do back in my crappy country. THANK YOU ONLINE GAMES!! (lol i know my english stil isnt perfect btw :D)

  • @killerbiller35

From reading your comment there is no way i could tell you're not english!

    Peace.

  • Htey said that playing creative games help bring the best in us.. My own small study shows In which 10 gamers played creative games and 10 played violent games.. They both had very similar results.. They both wanted to help out other people in the world.. This was based on the fact that no matter what type of game you are playing it is relaxing your mind and it is enjoyment to the mind.. This enjoyment is actually what causes the effect...

  • @MKhurramAziz

Watching 10,000 hours of Violence and simulating Violence will make Kids violent.

This really isn't to hard to understand .

I'm all for Video Games that promote goodness, learning, team work, with some fun mixed in.

I know Alot of people on here will disagree with this, since as americans we value freedom very highly, but I would ban all together some of these Violent murderous video games.

  • @DangeloM27 Cut the bullshit.

  • @DangeloM27 studies show, that the risk of getting killed yourself teaches gamers, the value of it.

if you look at brutal games are, in comparision to reality, they are like childsplay.

  • @DangeloM27

So by that terrible logic we should also ban all violent movies, or indeed any movies which show illegal content, since watching something makes you more likely to do it. ... Try again.

  • @ 2:05 --> Pro-Social Gaming... Never heard that term before.

  • I play starcraft an i'd be willing to bet it's better for my mind than most things I could be doing.

  • The '10,000' hour notion stems from Gladwell's Outliers; a kitschy book without any references, just the author's own "golly, isn't that interesting?" setups. This lady, far from world renown, has a desire but, like Gladwell, no solid premise; just wishful thinking ("golly, what if...?").

As an aside, her 'desire' is the same argument made by television in the 60s (yes, I'm that old). Unfortunately, the only thing that stuck was pre-schoolers watching Sesame Street.

  • @cliffandy only because you need 50.000 hours for everything doesnt mean it is not true.. you´re probably master of none?

the 10.000 principle always worked out for me.

  • @BadWithNames123 my specific point was, there is no evidence that the 10,000 hour principle - made popular by Gladwell and his readers - creates an outcome that was stated at the outset. Otoh, there are disciplines out there that use # of hours to determine level of proficiency; pilots, for example. But, all flights being equal, how might you argue that a 10,000 hour pilot is more proficient than a 5,000 hour pilot? I would argue that both fly with equal proficiency, but nothing more.

  • @cliffandy yes i know.. basically the 10.000 hour principle comes down to "do your fucking work and you will succeed" ; )

but there is still a differents between a pilot with 5.000 hours and 10.000 hours that double the training! not double the skill but dont underestimate double the training

  • @cliffandy the major difference is, that TV is a one-way-chanel, that degrades children to consumers of information.

In Games, they can experience it for themselves, find out solutions of their own and still have the same entertainment-factor.

Noone says, children should play violent games. There are tons of games out there that aren't violent.

  • 'World Renown' ?!? This woman is completely unknown inside of the games industry, we were all scratching our heads when she got onto TED and asking who the heck is this lady? We still are asking this question and wondering why people are putting so much weight on anything she is saying

  • also the 3/4 of music game player get their hand on a real instrument means absolutly nothing.. maybe 1/100 of them actually started to play a real instrument.

how about giving kids at school a chance to try out different real instruments.. than wow.. 100% would touch it and maybe some stick too it ; )

  • "having them play a game like this increased the likelyhood to help someone in the following week by three fold" note the LIKELYHOOD ; )

imagine how much the likelyhood would increase if they parents would spend 30 minutes with them each day teaching them and SHOWING them how to help others

    : )

  • the idea of a video game is too escape reality thats why we like killing noobs

  • @jakeman121acdc i know.. i did it too ; )

for most people it is not a hobby.. it is like you said to escape reality which means that gamers are not really happy in their real lifes... simply low self esteem

  • @BadWithNames123 lol ur probably right

  • they say you need to spend 10.000 hours on something to become a master..

so yeah.. they could also become a brain surgeon or world class top athlet.

well.. i guess powning noobs in counter strike is cool too..

  • Treyarch for Nobel Peace Prize 2011!

  • You so called people are nuts

  • yea... if they can create a game like halo or cod.. that will never happen... gl tho

  • Psychological studies advocating that violent material increases human propensity towards it are inherently fallacious since they do not use natural human behavior for comparison. We are violence loving creatures. The way we exercise it just has become more regulated in modern society. This is why we escape to violent films, music lyrics, and video games. They are all just harmless methods of entertainment for us to release our violent desires on. Doesn't it feel damn good to play GTA?

  • @checkunderyourbed but when you have games where you can deside to play the good or bad guys many people chose the good guy..

like in role play games like gothic.. or in games like wow..

  • @BadWithNames123 But in most video games (even Super Mario), the good guy uses some form of violence and causes the enemy to obtain injury or death.

  • @checkunderyourbed that´s true..

but still you can play games like simcity ^^

  • ZOOM IN CLOSER TO HER TITS

  • @krilin31 lmao I will!!

  • She still doesn't address the question directly about whether violent video games really do affect people. I know I've learned some tricks in car games for sure, I've learned about the hand brake and how you can use it to do all sorts of things in parking lots. Good or bad, you decide - as usual it depends.

  • @SeeProfileForDetails Of course it has an effect! But I think it would have more to do with what the actual game is rather then the fact that it's violent. Motorskills and strategizing would come from first person shooters for example. I have known some 14 year old kids who play gears of war and etc religiously. They have some fucked up ideas but when faced with real life that invincible hero crap goes out the window.

  • 10,000 hours is pussy shit.

  • @no1sjester they boobs shit

  • boobs and what?

  • @Mrtitmice ain'ts theys gonnas gets me some brains

  • she has big boobs :)

  • we hadded thy

  • people need to wake up and see the truth. Violence is a part of life and human interaction. At some peoint everyone will express the emotion of anger or irritation. Im not saying its ok to go beat someone but physical interactions will occur. If memory serves me correct it wasnt until america preached spanking kids is bad is when the generation started to go down hill and ignore responsibility

  • @anthonyww713 You're an idiot. Abuse to children is not the answer. Conversation and grounding them or banning them from eating dessert is better than hitting them. Idiot. Fuck you.

  • @SeeProfileForDetails your really showing your intelligence with countless insults instead of asking for clarification. I never said spanking kids should be a first option but it should still be an option. This is america you have the right to an oppinion as well as everyone else. If people would just stay out of other peoples lives and not be so quick to condem a person the world would be a much better place

  • @anthonyww713 You're really showing your stupidity with countless I-like-to-hit-my-child posts on the internet. If people would just stay out of their kids pants and not be so quick to condemn and smack them, the world would be a better place. It's called CONVERSATION and non-physical discipline, like telling them no dessert tonight at supper. Don't hit them, they will potentially come back and kill you at a later age if you harm their brain enough.

  • @SeeProfileForDetails When did i ever say i like to hit my child lol i never did. Lets go back to my original comment violence is a natrual part of human expression if it wasnt we wouldnt have wars ect. I stated spanking kids shouldnt be the 1st option get over that. Conversations as you put it go like this. What your doing is wrong dont do it or else. Thats called a threat. When your kid dosent respond to your threats or lack of desserts lol. It requiors futher action get over it

  • @anthonyww713 when taking away desserts doesn't work, then ground them and don't let them see friends, there is no reason to hit a child.

  • @SeeProfileForDetails We all have points of view and different oppinions. I can also respect your oppinion. Thats dosent make either one of us right nor wrong. It just means there is diversity in the world. I dont want to see kids beaten. There is a big difference between a spanking and a beating. I never said it was the 1st choice to take i just think it should be a choice. Sometimes it is the only effictive option

  • @anthonyww713 Spanking is beating, it's also sexual harassment because the babies private parts are near by - it is humiliating to the child and is a form of sexual abuse. When a woman gets spanked they can file charges. When a father spanks a girl or a boy this is gross. I was personally hit as a child and it made me even more angry wanting to do more harm to my parents later, not physical harm but simply avoiding them.

  • @SeeProfileForDetails "it's also sexual harassment because the babies [sic] private parts are near by [sic]"

    Jesus H. Christ.

How the fuck out of half a billion sperm did you prove to be fastest?

Is it true your mother used to put you to bed at night with a warm glass of milk, a story and a ball-peen hammer?

I also heard that before you were born she vehemently opposed abortion even for incest victims like herself, but today campaigns tirelessly for state subsidised infanticide on demand.

  • @PresidentZod It's been shown statistically that children who have been spanked come from families that aren't as intelligent, especially traditional christian type families where discipline is strong.

  • @SeeProfileForDetails you have to be joking. Perhaps you need a history lesson. Japan and china for example. In both countrys personal honor is held in high accord. There daily lives are run by disipline and honor. It is no secret that japan is the most advanced country in the world by technical means. China if you didnt know is preparing to lead the worlds economy. To say just people who spank or disipline there kids are less intellignt is wrong.

  • @SeeProfileForDetails to further show your ignorance as a percentage of people china and japan together in todays world have more "christians" than any other countrys. Weather this is based off of decades when america lead the finincal world. Or the fact both countrys express more freedom than america dose is unclear.
