I fail to see how Jobs did anything good. Wozniak did some interesting things early on. But all Jobs ever did was take other people's ideas, dress them up, rebrand them, and present them as his own.
Mac OS X, with its modified CDE panel/dock, is just BSD with pretty pictures on top.
Dennis Ritchie perhaps contributed more to the world than Steve Jobs did yet gets little recognition when he died. Apple software is over priced and over rated.
RMS is too honest for his own good but he is fundamentally correct in what he said. Maybe he could have worded it differently though.
You should not knock Mr. Stallman (e.g. the flash jibe), without him we'd never have the wonderful GNU/Linux OS!

well i know a lot of folks who gave the same opinion in the tech field. honestly it was the guy's opinion, he had different ideals than jobs which we know he takes offense to on a personal levels. seems like something he would say. assholish, no, i dont think so. he just treated him like he was a regular guy who died.
