Oath of Citizenship at Monticello

Jefferson was known to go against "naturalization". He also spoke out against immigration of anytime. It's a slap in the face to do this in Jefferson's front yard. Shame on these people

Can anyone who seeks naturalization apply to take the oath at Monticello? Also, out of curiosity, was it a coincidence that the President chose to attend this particular ceremony?
