The picture looked nice - If the problems were with sound, you could re-record the voice in a controlled environment, and overdub it. The trick is to watch and rewatch yourself saying the lines on your footage, then practice saying the line at the same speed/cadence... Then re-record.
Wherever you are shooting live-action, you should record a couple of minutes of background audio with no-one speaking (ie - The water running sound in this clip)... Then you can put them together. It's called ADR.
