  • @P4P4G4YO Thank you sooo much! I am glad that you like the video... We all miss the westerns & actors that made them great... when Men were Men! haha! Many of the old westerns were filmed right there at the Old Tucson Movie Studios! Here in Arizona! :)

  • ah the good old days of the golden screen

    thank you for the upload

cause your awesome like that [:-)

  • @mrfurball Thank you! Here in Arizona, there many places that are a reminder of the past, and the way it used to be... It is always nice to be able to go through memory lane! Thank you for watching! :)

  • @mrfurball no worries , you know that movie " hairspray " with john travolta? well they filmed some scenes here in toronto canada , one of them being 5 min from my house , whats interesting is they turned 2 street blocks into a 1940 / 1950's neighborhood and when not filming they would allow the public to wander through the area, it was very awesome cause it felt like i really had gone back in time to the 50's . security did not allow photos or videos of the set so i can't share it on youtube.

  • Thanks Mary for bringing me on a virtual walk-thru to this beautiful Old Tucson Movie Set. Enjoyed watching...the sewing machine at 2:41 brought back sweet memories...love the ice cream parlour & the spitting on sidewalks prohibited signages :-)

  • @ireneblchua Thank you Irene... Glad you could come along with me on this virtual walk-thu of Old Tucson Movie Set... I loved the old sewing machine too.. It reminded me of the on that my Mother had that I learned to sew on... Glad you enjoyed it! :)

  • Fascinating, Mary! Little House on the Prairie was one of my fav TV series when I was young...so this video brought back sweet memories...2:43 My old house had one just like this!.....may I ask who is the lady at 3:51? Is this set still used today? I enjoyed watching very much, thank you so much for bringing me there!

  • @kidowmer Annette! Glad that you liked it! I have tryed to post it months & it failed... I think everybody loved Little House on the Prairie! And the sewing machine brings back memories when I was a child too... The Lady at 3:51 is Anney Oakley... She was famous in our early history. I don't know if they are still making movies there, but I would imagine that they probably would, if it called for the desert & a western background! :)

  • Wow that is fantastic!!! I love the old west and you capture the feel and spirit so well. I actually feel as though I am in the old west watching your videos. You are so talented and thanks for posting this :)

  • @angelgirls1980 Thank you! Wish you could have gone too. It seems to me like Arizona has a lot of places like this... This one was particularly interesting... All the famous movies that were made there! I really don't know if they still use it for a movie set. I loved Little House of the Prairie too! Thank you for watching! :))

  • @TheShopgirl2000a It really is amazing.. I can only imagine how it feels to "step back in time" I would have loved to have joined you! Love, Patty

  • @angelgirls1980 Patty! I am so glad that you liked it! Wish you could have been there with me too... I'm not sure if they still use it for movies, but I don't see why not... If the scene called for the desert any a Western background... Thank you Patty, you are so kind! :)
