  • is this on 3ds software they used or something else?

  • I've uploaded this movie for a project at the Delft University of Technology. I'm not the owner of the copy right of this video.

Please stop sending request to use this in you presentations etc. As far as I understood, the company that made this video doesn't exists any more. Feel free to use it in any presentation or website. If you want to put a reference, please refer to the Delft university of Technology.

    Kind regards,

  • I would like to contact the creator of this excellent video to ask permission to use part of it in an online educational resource. How do I contact them?

  • How does the turbine adjust itself to changes in wind direction? Does the turbine adjust itself so it is facing the right way? Also, how is the pitch of the wings determined? I know its in response to wind speed, but is that automated as well?

  • We need to keep Earth Clean and Fresh. Its all we got. When there are winds far out in the Oceans, there can be electricity for us to use.

  • @Jdonavanford just type "how generator works" it'll explain u everything,by the way the generator never run out of electrons lol cause electrical flows by way of passing the coils thru magnets don't confuse with other thing :)

  • I have a question of a curious nature. Say you have an electrical generator that keeps running and running, producing an electrical current continuously. Where do the Electrons come from? Where do the electrons keep coming from that are produced by the Generator? Do they come from the windings of the generator, and if so, wouldn't the generator soon run out of electrons? If not, then where are they coming from? Any information would be appreciated, I am quite curious about this.

  • @Jdonovanford they are already here, on the wires, on everything, they just don't move making a current.

  • @Jdonovanford wind generator is a circut. electricity is just many electron formed together. when you have a peice of metal its full of electrons and what make metal conductive and the electrons are able to move freely, like water does in the ocean. Wind turbine do not create electricity what it does is its make the elctrons flow in a current with in the circut by the use of magnitisim. when we use electrons we dont really loose them they just find an atom that needs an electron

  • @BABarracus4 Yeah, but could you explain how this flow works? If an electron jumps into the next atom in the chain, and so successively, and it is not a circuit, how can the current keep on going if the first atom has one electron less?

  • @Jdonovanford there is free enegy all around but its easier to access with metal compaired to a stable rock that tend to form stable bonds that hold electrons in place. If the sea of elecrons did not work the way it did the electronic age would not be impossible

  • Man! This helped me a lot on my physics report! Sometimes videos shows more than words :D

  • GREAT 3D ANIMATION. It is a very good way to see the machine working in safety way. Nice job

  • Did not hear sound. Can you add Narration?

  • Fascinating! Informative!

  • Wind energy is being increasingly harnessed through out the world. It reduces electrical expenses and is a viable option. Depending on the location and the wind that one receives, the energy produced can be used to power home appliances. Offshore wind farms are the latest addition to the wind energy sector. Many companies are working with wind energy. One such company is Pacific Crest Transformers. It has been partnering with the wind energy sector since 1985.

  • why were the propellor thingys in the water?? :|

  • they are called wind turbines. They were in the water because it is more windy near water than on land or in city, :)

  • @ShermanTheSherwin the wind turbine is in the water because there are more wind out in the ocean

  • ni hao mama

  • schöne animation!

  • ja!:)
