Don't know if you care but if you have an arrow held back you can just scroll up or press a hotbar number and it will cancel the arrow so you don't have to waste it .. :)

Why don't you make the ground floor mechanics out of half slabs? They stop mob spawning and can help with collection.

I was saying they would trigger a spawn on the edge but would only pass the check just outside of it in midair. Meaning they would spawn around the outer edge. That seems to be where a good deal of your netherack destroying ghasts are coming from anyhow ;p

@Atanar89 Im pretty sure it does not distroy enything a tiny bit faster, or it has to be a TINY bit faster. But it distroys a trapdoor pretty fast when you compare it to doing it with your hand.

You could als put fences, with water on top. Because fence is (mechanicly) 1,5 block tall, the mobs do get hurt. But because it is just 1 block for item's, they will flow over! ;)

@TheGrilledPineapple two things: can't put water in the Nether, and in 1.9 fences have a new hitbox...so it seems that items will fall "into" the fence post instead of stay on top of it.
