The big companies that require some jobs to be manual labor (where there's not any skilled labor required, and making the job automated would be costly) are loving this. They have a river of never ending cheap labor which = more profit for them. Take for instance the company that made kosher meat in Iowa I believe. You might have heard about it.

Border agents Compean and Ramos were wilfully and wrongfully charged under the United States Code Title 18 Section 924(c)(1)(a)(iii), which was enacted to punish criminals using firearms to commit crimes of violence or drug trafficking crimes. The statute was not enacted to punish law enforcement officers who have made procedural errors or misjudgment in carrying out their duties. Their convictions must be overturned to preserve the integrity of the judicial system.

Unjust? They violated the 4th and 11th amendments. The fact that he was a drug dealer was not revealed until after the incident. It may suck, but we can't let people get away with breaking laws based on the stigma of the "victim"

The 4th amendment forbids "unreasonable" searches and seizures. Searching a person and the van he drove that "had entered the US border illegally" was reasonable search and confiscating the drugs in the van was reasonable seizure.

When the person in the van resisted arrest, there was reasonable cause to believe that he was smuggling drugs in the van. The judgment of the agents from experience turned out to be correct.The criminal Davila was shot while committing the felony of drug smuggling. He was not shot based on a stigma.

Of course there could have been illegal immigrant in the vain as well. But the agents did not shoot at the van. They shot at the man who had put up a fight then tried to escape.He was shot not from the back but at an angle from the side, which corroborated with the testimony that he was turning around with what appeared to be a gun.

Yes, the drug smuggle was on foot when he was shot. He was on foot trying to escape "after a scuffle". Agent Compean fired at him but missed. Agent Ramos arrived trying to help out and fired only one short and hit him.Ramos motive was to assist a fellow agent. He also reported Davila turning back with what appeared to be a gun in his hand.
