@EYEOFASERPENT, this one is the TRV98 (has a more sensitive CCD). I also have the DCR-TRV310 that is Digital/Analog and DCR-TRV315 (same)....and quite a few others. i don't mess with them very often. Just modified them because I could. But I don't go looking "up skirts" :)
you know how to see through clothes without anything...huh...it is quite simple really...get a girl ask her out get to know each other end up in a relationship (after a long relationship) convince him/her if you like to make love..thats it quite simple not only you could see through clothes but your body will feel warm and happy

Actually the modified cams are better than the originals because you can adjust the color effects. With original before 1998 (forget month at the moment) you only get the nasty green color in nightshot.
You don't even need those cameras; though it does make it easier to film in the IR spectrum. Almost every other camcorder / digital camera is capable of filming in IR so long as you remove the IR filter in the camera itself.

X ray?..dont you mean band filtered A band near infrared..!the silicon CCD can only detect as far down as 1300nM un filtered so with a low pass filter ,like an 850nM your only looking at a fraction of thr IR band....850-1300nM whare is that any way related to shorter wave X-rays at 3nM-10pM....at the other end of the visible and beyond UV part ov the EM spectrum...Dr A.G.Stamp PHD.

Filter used. 760NM for low light levels (and inside homes) 850NM for average overcast cloudy skies outdoors. 950NM to 1000NM for strong bright light outside. SOMETIMES inside with NO filter. Dark fabric is better then light colors to see through. Paper money (USA) has wide bands visible on the back (only in infrared)See Ya

I used a normal 80 watt light bulb in a bedroom (only lighting) and the filter you see me move into view was a German 850NM IR filter. YES-you can view Xray inside WITHOUT filter (need ability to adjust exposure on camera also) "Sony TRV98" ROCKS!! I ahven't done this in awhile. I have 5 or 6 of these cameras (some work as original-some had to be modified) I need to make more videos I guess.
