  • my freind and i were pushing a 650 up to 95 kmph on a dirt track... fun!

  • where is this?

  • @parkerparkerm

The pipeline part of the Dusty Trails System in northern WI.

  • Any one of the Outties for sale?

  • i want a can am but im getting a polaris cause its a bit cheaper but i think polaris and can ams are the 2 best quad makers ever =] good video looks like fun

  • would the 650 canam have enough power to spin 29.5 inch outlaws?

  • @TheACguy1 With a pipe and a power comander it will just fine. A 800 would make it easier.

  • @BRPSRT thanks

  • @BRPSRT thanks

  • @TheACguy1 Yeah, you'll feel a bit of power loss. Not much though, my old outlander 400 turned 25's.

  • i ride up past the wheel inn to the bp on my outlander about every other weekend in the summer with my dad and his partners. i have a 07 650 outlander xt.

  • is this down in dusty trails on the pipeline

  • yup

  • @BRPSRT were they enganed in low or high range 4wd?

  • I might be etting one soon, same year, is ur tranmission intake snorkled??

  • The motor intake, and the belt case intake and belt case exhaust are all snorkeled. We have redone the snorkels since this video, and now they come out the fenders about as high as the handle bars.

The tranny just has a vent tube on it with a one way check valve, and doesnt need to be moved.

  • getting one on may 16th

  • you'll like it but if you like mudding get the full snorkel or the stealth version

  • nice vid

  • thts sum black mud, where yal ridin at

  • nice video i have a 400 can-am oulander xt it is great..

  • That i dont know as i dont have a 2-up...sorry.

  • can you tell me how reliable it is because im getting one in june

  • Very reliable. I havent had to do any work besides oil changes and keep the u-joints and bushings greased.

  • would you happen to know its top speed?

  • The 650 tops out at 65-70 i believe.

  • thanks

  • what about the passenger seat

  • i cant get the seat off mine how do u do it

  • On the very back of the seat, reach down under behind it (between the seat and the body) and youll feel a plastic piece...push that in (towards the front of the quad), and pull up. It should pop off. You might be able to see the piece by looking back there too.

  • dude... i go through that with a Bombardier 330... same make but lol... man... water to the lights is nothin... take er through somethin good. i take my 650 through water above the bars ...

  • Looked great

nice quads and dusty trails looks great

last year i found the pipeline was pretty dry should be better this year

  • sweet

  • so does the water get in through the leaky seals on hte back cover? or through the stock snorkel?

  • Water did get in through the CVT case seal on the red one, but thats been fixed...and never did on the yellow. We dont know about the stock intakes/cvt exhaust...because we put the stealth snorkels on pretty much right away.

  • i hjave to say the outlander may take the cake on power, but i'd still stick with the polaris if for nothing more than the true awd on demand.

  • Yeah i wont lie, sometimes i wish i had a button to lock the front up. But oh well, just have to get the tires spinning and itll lock up.

  • in my opinion outlanders and sportsmans are the best 4X4's out and rincons plain out suck cause they dont have true 4X4

  • more like can am and kawasaki is the best :) i have to polaris's and there both 100cc bigger then my outlander and i can do anything they can and somtimes even better then they can like muddin :)

  • more like just sportsmans for awd.

  • Wow, I'm these can am units are sweet. I'm definantly considering an Outlander over a Rincon.

  • Definatly better then the Rincons. Watch the other vid of us going through thick mud...its pretty crazy.

  • noooooooo man dont get a rinicon they suck... a can am outlander 500 has more horses then a rinicon lol the 650 is a WAYYYY better choice

  • hello. what tires do u use on urs can am's???

  • Just the factory Carlisle ACT tires. Really soft tires.

  • was that in Dusty Trails? And are you on the Appleton powersports owner's site with a lind to your pics?

  • Yes all of that was on the pipeline on the Dusty Trails...and yes we are on the APS site with a link to our pics. We are friends with the owners.

  • awesome! i love riding on that pipeline. its so much fun! we were talking to APS about buying an Outty 800 there. the only problem is that they dont have any XT packaged ATVs in stock

  • IC...i thought they had one on the floor when we were there. But maybe not...it doesnt take long for them to get one i dont think.

  • they just emailed us and said they got an 800 and a 650 XTs in stock, so we're gonna go check em out soon

  • Awesome...you definatly wont regret getting one.

  • it doesn't look like it! they're like mini hummers/tanks, they can go through almost anything from what i've seen. can't wait to go look at them

  • Yup...definatly are badass. Did you see my other vids of us going through thick mud...that was nasty stuff.

  • ya! i saw the other ones, and that was some thick muck. those look like amazing machines. i can't wait now!

  • i just went to the dealer last night, and we're probably going to get the 2008 650 XT. the 800 was too much $ for 7hp and less gas mileage. the 650 can also do anything we need it for. now its just the color decicion

  • Awesome...the '08s have a few different features....but mostly the same. Yeah it only sucks they still only make them in 3 different colors lol...but oh well.

  • ya, the red and yellow look the best IMO. oh, and i wanted to ask you, did you snorkel either 650? and did you get any water in your CVT when you went through that stuff?

  • Yup i snorkeled both of them. Stelth snorkeled, they are hidden...but you can go through anything up to the gauge cluster basically. We did get water in the CVT before i snorkeled the outlet on that.

  • Hey, did you have to take it in for maintenance after getting water in the cvt, or is that not such a big deal?

  • If you get water in the CVT, itll dry out and be fine. But there was a recall because the back cvt cover would sometimes warp and cause a leak. The red one just got back from getting that fixed, but the yellow one hasnt needed it.

  • awsome.. how much did u pay for one of them?
