I don't think you can find it anywhere in the U.S as it is illegal here in the U.S ( My Mon told me as she is a doctor in the internal medicine). In Asia, you will see a lot of it, especially in a province in China called Sichuan, especially in its capital the city of Chengdu. There are numerous tea bars there where they offer service like that, those people with good skills have more than a decade worth experience. The process is so great, it can put you into sleep, that is amazing, for real!

it does put you to sleep. it's so relaxing. as a kid i used to fall asleep on my mum's lap as she did this for me. :) better than continually shoving the wax deeper into the ear with a q-tip.

Because the cleaning process is a very detailed work which require lot of patience that is not everyone posses. Meanwhile, you also need to know where to clean with adequate pressure applying to the wall of ear tunnel, anyway, it is more complicated to perform than watch. Think about it, how much detail orientated person you need to be when someone trust their ear drum to your hand. In the U.S, only doctors in the field trained for this are allow to do it.

Well you can always avoid those street ear cleaners if u are scare.Actually its not good to have your ears totally wax free. And cutting the hair is bad.

U see ear wax acts as a barrier to protect the ear from any bad bacteria into the drum. Usually u only start cleaning it when wax is to much.

Lol i remember one time i had so much wax in my ear, I was instantly deaf. When i dig it out it was WTF OMFG wax.
