December 25th is NOT Jesus' birthday, this is a LIE. The Bible does not tell us to celebrate His birthday, it tells us to NOT WORSHIP like the HEATHEN do, and do not commit IDOLATRY. Christ-mass is Catholic idolatry, and comes from Satanic Baal worship. The Bible tells Christians to NOT touch what is UNclean, and to be separate from the world. Going to church on December 25th, and celebrating Christ-mass is an abomination, by mixing holy with UNholy, and is disobeying what the Bible teaches.

@sprite4asia Thanks for your post. To the other commenters, this song is about providing homes to children in need, not philosophical discussions about "X" or "Christ" or "Chi Rho." Most of us are certainly aware of these adult discussions, but let's focus our joy on bringing happiness to all children, including the ones finding hope in this song. QED

@catchatyou Actually, "X-mas" was never intended to remove Christ from Christmas. The X was meant to be the first letter of the greek word for Christ. I believe the work was "Chi". You may have to look up some more about it though, I'm blanking on details. But "X-mas" is rooted in Christian tradition.

@Cheyenne17124 I have been aware of that. Just like Happy Holidays was never meant to get rid of Christmas. But honestly (other than Hanukkah), what other major holiday do people celebrate.

They replaced Thanksgiving with Turkey Day, replaced Christmas with holiday, and haven't even touched Halloween...

Is it really so hard to honor Christ by saying Christmas?

@catchatyou By the way, when the gospels were originally written, the writers got tired of writing out "Christ" every time they needed to, so they put X in it's place. So, calling it "Merry X-mas" actually leaves Christ in it, albeit in a roundabout way.

He was one of the first proper Christian Rappers! And C. toby mac is... kind of a poser because this guy acts like hes all cool and tries to rap... its really shameful... conveying a message of trying to conform to the world but at the same time trying to serve God... which is DANGEROUS, because you can't serve both the world and God at the same time. I don't know about this guy, people...

@JndBStudios I think he has his own style. There is christian rap, which i believe thats what he is considered. But no argument here. I just gave my opinion. :) but yes it is dangerous to try to serve both God and the world. Can only serve one. but i love tobymac.
