  • This was my fave off the Mason/Elliot LP. I played it solo, duo, & bands up til early '80's. Was thinking of relearning it today, and, zowie, here 'tis! :o)

  • My Sister Had This Album Back In The Early Seventy's - Luv His Feel & Spirit, All We Can Do Is Remember That Great Time - Gone ForEver, How Can We Get It Back ! Chippewa - Kenny "10 Bears" McNally

  • does anyone have the lyrics? its not on google!

  • Neither I haven`t found it....

  • Yeh nice song and cass was a superb singer

  • there's not a bad song on the whole damn album...i use to play it ver and over..

    .and i'm a rocker.

  • Every time I hear this song I find it better!

  • Excellent song, excellent album -- RIP

  • Thanks for creating this! One of my favorite songs. Dave was in a great period here and working with Cass was inspired.

  • Maybe you're right but without her the album wouldn't have had the same quality

  • I love Cass and I have this LP (and everything else she's ever released)but this LP was not a good performance for her. Through most of it she was treated like a back up singer. It doesn't spotlight her talent or her gift for harmonies.

  • If Cass only knew how many of us loved her..

Fairly certain Dave Mason was smitten by her brilliance. Ah, Cass, miss you, girl.

  • You're right, we'll ever miss her

  • This song always made me wander if David Crosby had a hand in its creation. This reminds me so much of CSN and I know he was close to Cass. Many thanks fantastic job. Sincerely Aquatania

  • Very fine information aquatania, you're maybe wright, the harmony semms as if Crosby has something to do with it...Thanks for your comment!

  • It's possible. 1970-1971 were the two years where everybody was helping everybody on their albums. Mama Cass was always bringing people together. It was during this time that Dave Mason and everyone else was revolving around the whole Delaney and Bonnie and Friends entourage, just a gigantic network of musician friends! Eric Clapton, Joe Cocker, CSN, Dave Mason, etc., etc., etc.

  • It's a shame their work together was brief. I don't believe it was well received by the critics at the time, and few know about this album. But I love the album and glad it is out on cd. Great music.

  • I couldn't agree more, I picked this album up at a used record store about 12 years ago.

  • This is one fine album .. check it ,find it...listen to how their harmonies blend , & that they even thought to come together to make it !! a rare gem...

  • Really fine comment, you've reason, a perfect blend, I need to find it in CD cause my LP is exhaust

  • Thanks & I appreciate yours...

  • Great tribute! She was an amazing vocalist. I also adore Dave Mason (only went to one concert -caught his performance at Toad's Place in the mid-90's). Nice to see this on youtube...thanks!
