I really feel bad for the guy. He doesn't sound good, reflecting his hard life, and his handlers should really give him the break he deserves. I love Brian, but not everyone has his best interests in mind.
@LoveSupreme94 Doesn't sound good? Did you see the Superbowl? He sounds a billion times better than those clowns. Brian's voice has recovered quite a bit since the late 70's and he sings with way more heart than the soulless sellouts that dominate the modern pop charts with autotune. I feel lucky to be seeing this legend again this June because the last time I saw him and his band was amazing. I was 5ft from Brian during the L&M encore; he was smiling wide. He loves singing his music to people.
i don't know what happened to him, his voice seems to have recovered, he hits higher notes, his pronouncations is again clearer (you know what i mean by some of his older live vids), his voice is just brighter i think.
well, with smile finally coming out this year, the smile demon finally is fully away from his mind.
he sounds a lot like carl here, and looks a bit like macca.
@OropherThranduil I hear Carl in his voice a lot too. The first few lines sound almost just like Carl. I Cannot wait until June 18 when I see Brian in Toronto.
now if he starts again to play the keys or probably even the bass he would look even better onstage i guess.
real musicians just have to use their hands while performing, it's in their blood.
and with al having reunited with the beach boys (great concert at the reagan show), brian recovered his voice, al sounds as good as ever, and mike and bruce are also still good at the vocals, really hoping for a reunion tour, just like a stones reunion with bill would be great, probably even taylor.
haha poor brian was never a showman! but its always great to see him!
