I LOVE my Ipad 2 =) Yesterday I received a free ipad 2 for testing I'm so happy.. didn't believe thats real when i saw the testing offer at ipad2reward (dot) info .. I contacted the owner he said they still got a few to give away 4freeee =)

I chose the iPad2 over the Xoom because of 2 main factors. 1) iPad2 had the Wifi only model from launch. 2) I enjoyed the over all user experience of the iPad 2 over the other tablets. The specs are either close enough to where it didn't matter, like for example the CPUs or I didn't think the lesser specs mattered as much in the combined user experience, like the screen resolution, RAM and cameras. I'm not going to be taking pictures with tablet or have more than a couple of apps open.
Wow, the "stats" given from this review are pretty much taken from any number of Steve Jobs' speeches. The graphics are 9x times better? Can you give screen shot or video demos so we actually observe the difference? Flash is a "battery drain" ? How would you know unless there was a burn in test on the device itself? Also, wouldn't that suggest that other mobile platforms have stronger battery hardware since they support that software? The only thing inside is the A5 chip and big battery? Really?
@theday01 ok first off, the stats are true thats why i said them, flash does drain battery and other tablets do not have close to the battery capacity of this thing. and the only new additions to the device that people really will notice their work, was the a5 chip.....whats ur deal? lemme guess, your an android fan
@TheSalatarReport Actually, I don't own any Android products. In fact, I own more Apple products. I'm not a "fan" of any product brand. What I am a fan of is objective and unbiased reviews. There was no information given in this "review" that the official iPad 2 announcement didn't give. Also, there was no mention as to whether or not it is worth upgrading from the first iPad. A lot of people have the 1st gen iPad so I feel this is relevant. Btw, saying that it can replace a laptop is a stretch.
@theday01 its not a stretch, and its up to you to decide if you want to upgrade, i didnt have an ipad 1 so i dont know. You cant tell me i didnt have alot of information in this video....

How is animated GIF playback? I don't know if Safari on iOS uses the same libraries as Safari on OSX does but on my unibody 13" MBP C2D 2.23Ghz, GIF playback uses a lot of CPU in Safari and sometimes freezes up especially when there are a lot of them on the screen at once. The thing is, the same pages load and the images play fine on Firefox and Chrome.

IMO, not really a review. I am getting an iPad 2 but review videos shouldn't bash one and praise the other. It should provide useful information about the goods and bads of each competing brand. I have never given a bad comment on youtube before but I just couldn't stand watching this one any longer.

Also you didn't mention some important comparison points such as, most of the android tablets have superior cameras and higher resolution screens (not better). IMO it just sounds like a big apple ad with some android bashing thrown in.
@mengy007 well its true, android has literally NOWHERE near the amount of apps, not mentioning the exact number was doing the android market a favor lol, i think its like 1000 apps now.....And i didnt really look into screen resolutions or cameras on android so idk i wasnt really trying to bash it
@TheSalatarReport My point is that if you wanted to compare specs and numbers, it should have been fair and complete instead of half jokingly. Even if you didn't mean to, the message that I got was that everything apple is good and everything else is bad. This was a good video but a bit biased to say the least. In any case, I'm still getting the iPad 2 because honestly, the only piece of hardware+software that has come close to the responsiveness of apple's touchscreen is the new windows phone.
